I read your article on windows and learned a lot. I have been talking to Alenco after finding them at a home show. Don't seem to find anything about them online. Are you familiar with this company?

Marilyn, I don't know much about Alenco. I know they are in Kansas and Missouri mostly. I took a look at their website and it appears they sell Sunrise windows, which I can't recommend enough. The company seems to get quite solid reviews...I would make sure this applies to the "branch" you are working with. Feel free to shoot over the price bid once you get it and I'm happy to take a look. You might want to also get a few more bids to make sure the price quote is fair.
