America's Best Choice Windows Reviews

Explore America's Best Choice Windows reviews from consumers and industry experts alike on this franchise window company.

Company Information: ABC is a national window company that is structured as a franchise. They advertise their replacement windows installed for $179 per window and up. The website states the company is "one of the fastest growing replacement window companies in America." I have no idea whether this is true, but they do seem to have a number of branches/websites in different urban areas and cities.

Are They Any Good: I don't know a ton about ABC, but they seem to be similar to Window World in how they are set up and price out their windows. I'm not a huge fan of Window World, although I think that some branches/franchises do provide good installation (but not necessarily good windows themselves). Because I don't know anything more about ABC windows or America's Best Choice, I will not add anything else. As soon as I do find out more, I will be sure to post it.

America's Best Choice Windows gets a 3.6 out of 5 stars based on 2 consumer reviews below.

ABC Windows Installer

Trying to find a reputable replacement window installer in northwest Arkansas. Any advice?

Kerry, Arkansas is definitely not in my wheelhouse of experience. I would go to angie's list and see what you find there, as well as looking on yelp for window installers. Hopefully, this will get you a couple of options.

I'm happy to check out your bids once you get them and help you sort through the quotes. The process begins... :)

I could not sign up on Angie's list. Site would never let me in. I did get far enough to see America's Best Choice. I have a quote from them. Window World is coming today. Not sure either of these companies are best by far.
Window World $189 Special

Kerry, both of these companies have multiple branches that I believe are run as franchises. (I might be wrong on America's Best Choice, but this is how Window World is run.) So that means that while the products are going to be standard across branches, the installation, pricing, warranty might be different. So I would spend some time googling the online reviews of each branch to see which one seems the safer bet.

I'm honestly not sure what window ABC uses, but I would ask them straight out because they relabel a window...probably something like an MI1650. You definitely want to know the actual window series going into your home.

The other option here is to visit Dixieline, Home Depot, and Lowes (or call them) and ask what window brands they carry. The best one I've found out of these big box stores is the Andersen 100 composite window. It goes for something like $350 a window -- ballpark price out the door. Then go to yelp and find a highly regarded installer and have him install the Andersen 100 window. If he charges $150 per window on the install, you have a solid window for $500. Not bad in the grand scheme of things.

Tim. I really appreciate the info. I finally was able to get a couple of independent installers to come give me a quote. One from Viwintech and another installing Kensington Kingston. The Viwintech quote for single hung was about the same as Kensington double hung. Viwintech double hung a little over 20% higher than their single hung. I have decided to go with Kensington. Quote of $3170 for 8 windows. Again thanks for the feedback.

ABC Windows Quote

We have a local Abc windows dealer and he quoted us $1100 on a double hung 28" by 54 " Comfort window double pane. I didn't find any information on this maker on your web site. Their headquarters is in Fargo, ND. Do you know anything about the quality of these window and how they stack up to other brands quality/price wise? Thanks for your help in advance. That $1100 included installation.

Brian, I know very little about ABC windows, but I think they are similar to Window World from what I've seen on their website(s). I would be suspect of them from the get go based on this. The fact that they want to charge you $1100 for a 28" by 54" window seems outrageously high since the company advertises the "$199 windows installed. How do you go from $200 to $1100?

You need two to three more bids before you go forward. They're free and they will give you a broad range of prices, products, and scope of work needed for your project.

I would avoid Renewal By Andersen, but I saw a company that sells Marvin and one that sells Sunrise windows in your area. Check out our recommended windows page to see more brands that we like...

Thanks a lot for getting back to me. I am waiting for a local Soft-lite dealer to get back to me. I have called him three times and am still waiting for a call back. Based on your web information I think the Soft-Lite Imperial LS would be a good choice for us. Thanks again. I will let you know how we turn out.

Brian, Soft-Lite makes an excellent window and the Imperial LS is a top performer. Between the Sunrise Restorations and Soft-Lite LS, you have two of the best windows in the business to choose from!
