Solar-Tech Window Bid
Dane, I am in Cincinnati Ohio and need to do a whole home window replacement (20 windows). Our home is 20+ years old, builder grade windows were used when the home was built, it’s finally time to replace them.
In doing a fair amount of research, I have found myself comparing SoftLite, Solartech and Polaris. I was unable to find anything about Solartech on your site, are you familiar with them? Would you recommend them or the SoftLite or Polaris? When we move forward, we will be looking at replacing with either the mid grade to possibly the top tier model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Bryan, I have never heard of Solartech windows. Their website has no information on their windows. I could only glean that they are out of Florida. I would be very hesitant about going with them when you have two well-known and well regarded manufacturers to choose from. Soft-Lite and Polaris are two of the best. I would give the edge to Soft-Lite, but it really comes down to the model you go with...Their mid range and top tier are pretty darn equal in terms of quality and craftsmanship. I would probably choose based on the reviews and reputation of the company doing the actual install.
