Andersen 200 Series Windows Prices

Andersen 200 Series windows prices fall in the mid range of all wood clad windows. Prices are going to vary based on the size of the opening, glass package and upgrades, as well as the installation requirements for any job. Originally Andersen had their 400 Series, which was their standard wood window. Eventually they added their 200 Series, which were a stripped down version of their 400 Series (often referred to as builder grade because builders often use a lower grade window on developments to cut down on costs). The 200 does not have as many custom options as the 400 Series in terms of grids, exterior frame colors or sizing options.

The 200 Series has a vinyl exterior and comes in either the Tilt Wash or Narrowline model. The Tilt-Wash model comes in a white pine or standard interior, a sandstone or white exterior, and uses a PPG Flexicron sash. Most contractors think the 200 Series is an okay option in this price range, but would recommend the 400 Series as a sturdier window with better movement and reliability. The 200 Series is comparable to the Pella ProLine wood clad window, although most industry experts will recommend the Andersen model over the Pella equivalent.
