Who Manufactures FiberFrame Windows?

Fiberframe windows are manufactured by ComfortLine Windows. Comfort Line is located in Toledo, Ohio and has been manufacturing their FiberFrame Comfort Line series over 30 years ago. Today, Zen Windows offers this option to consumers, which has brought the company more attention and scrutiny over the past 10 years.

What Are The Main Features Of The ComfortLine FiberFrame Windows?

The FiberFrame window is nice looking -- simple clean lines and nice corner joints. In terms of window ratings, the ComfortLine FiberFrame double hung delivers an air infiltration of .08, design pressure of 30, U-value of .30, solar heat gain of .31, and a condensation resistance of .53. These numbers are generally good (not world beaters, but good.) This unit can be ordered as an awning, casement, picture, double hung, slider, patio door, sunroom, as well as various specialty shapes.

What Is The Warranty Coverage For The FiberFrame?

The FiberFrame Window warranty includes a limited lifetime warranty on the materials such as the mainframe, IGU, and hardware to the original buyer. While it does not state directly, the warranty seems to be non transferrable. All warranty claims have to be submitted to the dealer who did the installation.

How Much Do FiberFrame Windows Cost In 2026?

FiberFrame window prices generally fall into the mid-range fiberglass category - $1500 to $1750 installed. Most homeowners can expect installed prices to come in below premium fiberglass brands like Marvin and Alpen, but above standard vinyl replacement windows like Okna and Ply Gem Windows.

FiberFrame vs ProVia Endure Window Comparison
Window Series Total Quote Installed Editor Takeaway
Comfort Line FiberFrame $16,000 more than ProVia Endure Solid fiberglass option, but expensive compared with top-tier vinyl alternatives
ProVia Endure $16,000 less One of the best vinyl windows on the market and the stronger overall value
Marvin / Alpen / Inline Fiberglass Premium fiberglass alternatives Better known fiberglass brands worth considering for long-term ownership

"We recently got a bid from Zen Windows in Columbus on their fiberframe window that came out to $800 more than the ProVia Endure. We have 20 windows on the nose so the bid came out to $16,000 more. Is this price increase worth it?"

Linda, Homeowner - from 2026

Editor's Advice:

Linda, the ComfortLine FiberFrame window generates good reviews, although there are much better and well-known fiberglass windows on the market. My own take is that you will be well served with the ProVia Endure, which is one of the best vinyl windows on the market today. And you save yourself $16,000, which could be put to good use on other home improvement projects.

If this is your forever home, then perhaps fiberglass windows make a lot of sense. However, as I said, there are better brands out there in my opinion. Marvin, Alpen, and Inline come to mind. These would be the fiberglass windows that I might be more inclined to use.

FiberFrame vs Marvin Fiberglass Windows

Project Type: 20 Replacement Windows
Location: Ohio
Data Source: 2023 Homeowner Quote

FiberFrame vs Marvin Fiberglass Window Comparison
Window Series Total Quote Installed Editor Takeaway
Comfort Line FiberFrame $35,000 Expensive for a lesser-known fiberglass option
Marvin Elevate Series Premium fiberglass pricing Safer long-term fiberglass investment and stronger brand reputation
Zen Lotus / Lotus Plus Lower overall cost Comparable performance numbers at a lower price point

"I recently received a quote on the FiberFrame, which was expensive in my opinion and I'd love to get your take. 20 replacements at $35K -- expensive right?"

"Thanks in advance and for all that you do for homeowners like myself that have absolutely no idea how any of this works."

Kerry, Homeowner - from 2026

Editor's Advice:

Kerry, I know that Zen carries this option, but I don't hear about the quality of this option much. But, yes, that is quite expensive -- which isn't exactly surprising -- fiberglass is going to run 35% more than vinyl in most cases.

I think there are probably better (or safer) opinions in say the Marvin Elevate series. (Click to read all of our Marvin Windows reviews here.) Personally, I would stick with the Zen Lotus or Zen Lotus Plus series, which will cost you less and have the same performance data.
