Sunny, if this were my project I would go with the Apex bid. That's the best window for the price. The Windsor Pinnacle is much nicer looking, but my own opinion is that wood is not a material that holds up long term. Some people disagree but that's my own take.

Legend Windows Cost
Hi Dane, I just got a bid on the Legend PVC. I think it’s called the legends, but I didn’t quite know if that was correct. I was curious what you thought of this window and whether the price quote that I got was worth it. I have 10 windows and one patio door And the total cost was $14,617. The person who gave me the bid told me that that included the installation but that they were basically charging me $4000 for the install cost, but that was included in the total price. What do you think?

Cheryl, I think that’s at the top end of what I would say is fair. But it’s also going to depend on how those other bids come in assuming you get some. I would certainly advise you to get more bids as this is really gonna tell you the fair market price for your project. In general, Windsor makes a pretty good window, although I don’t hear a ton about the Legend series. From what I know it’s a cellular pvc and carries a 25 year warranty. I feel like warranties are a good indication of how long companies think their products ought to last. 25 years doesn't strike me as all that solid a lifespan.
