Soft-Lite is a top vinyl window manufacturer that has distribution in many states, including Oklahoma. They are one of the faster growing window companies, with a booming franchise in Zen Windows and several strategic rebranding partnerships such as Envision Windows. The company itself manufacturers six different window models, from the entry level Barrington up to the premium Elements series. While we never really recommend buying an entry level window), the rest of the Soft-Lite fleet is very solid for the price point. The Elements is a top tier vinyl window.

Sunrise Windows

Sunrise is considered a top tier vinyl window manufacturer by many contractors, consumers and industry insiders. Their top-of-the-line Restoration is one of our picks for the best replacement vinyl windows available. Sunrise has several dealers in Oklahoma that should be available through their website. The standard Sunrise frame is quite solid and their other upgraded models, including the Verde Vanguard and Restoration, all use this basic frame, along with some nice glass, component and part upgrades. The only exception to this rule is their entry level Essentials models.

Replacement Windows In Oklahoma

Dane, we live in Oklahoma and need our windows replaced in our high end house. We are looking for vinyl window due to the weather here in Tulsa. We went to Home Depot and they have suggested the Simonton 6100 series. We find that there are not many options. What would you suggest? Thanks.

Hi Lynn, the Simonton 6100 Series, also known as the Vantage Point is an alright vinyl window, not one I would recommend unless you are pretty budget minded. In fact, there isn't too much at the big box store that falls in the mid range categories (although I would say that Simonton and perhaps Reliabilt are the two brands that achieve this with a few nice upgrades).

If you have a high end home and want to put a high quality vinyl window in, I would suggest the top of the line Soft-Lite or Sunrise window. I believe that both of these companies have local distributors that service at least parts of the state (I can't say with any assurances that they service Tulsa). Do a search for "Soft-Lite windows Tulsa Oklahoma" and "Sunrise windows Tulsa Oklahoma" and see what comes up. If you don't come up with anything using these searches, I believe ProVia Windows and Doors are available in your area.

I LIVE IN TULSA OK AND NEED 24 REPLACEMENT WINDOWS. RENUAL BY ANDERSON GAVE ME A PRICE OF $51400 FOR THEIR FIBREX WINDOW. THATS COMPLETELY OUT OF MY BALL PARK. CAN YOU RECOMMEND A GOOD BRAND OF WINDOW FOR MY AREA THAT DOES NOT BREAK THE BANK? I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WINDOW AS MY HOUSE IS A MIDDLE INCOME HOUSE.

Hey Jim, I can absolutely recommend some brands that will be MUCH less than the RBA quote you received. Gerkin windows may be available in your area and they make very solid vinyl and aluminum windows.

Soft-Lite and Sunrise are both excellent and one or both may be available in Tulsa. Google "Okna Tulsa OK" and see if anything comes up, Okna is a great option as well.

Finally check if Zen windows has a franchise in your city, this is a soft-lite franchise and their top two window brands are quite good. Let me know what you come up with!

Get 2 to 4 quotes from these companies and I think you are going to be much happier with the price and the long term quality and durability of your windows.
