What They Sell
Capital Remodeling sells the Vytex Great View series. Interesting, this window series is not listed on their website, although it sounds similar in nature to the Vytex Grand View series. While the Grandview is also not listed on the website, it is sold by Windows Nation as their standard vinyl window. My hunch (and this is all it is) is that the Great View is very close to the Grand View window series. Generally speaking, the Vytex GrandView is a quality mid range vinyl window with some nice features like a true sloped sill and an air infiltration rating of .10. Not a bad option at all.
Warranty Information
The Great View window comes with a triple lifetime warranty (which truthfully I’ve never heard of). This means that the warranty covers the original buyer for as long as they own the home. Additionally, it covers the next two homeowners for as long as they own the home. The window warranty applies to the main frame, sashes, components and hardware - specifically, that there are no manufacturing defects or issues. The Capital Remodeling warranty also includes an accidental glass breakage provision that does not expire (this part of the warranty does not include the cost of labor to replace the glass.) All in all, this is a very strong warranty that is quite impressive.
