Euro Tech Window Cost
Thank you Dane for the list, I will research. My friend did reach out and filled out the contractor form. Out of which two companies responded, powerhrg and euro-tech . He did set up appointments with both but PowerHRG canceled saying they don't work on Condos/Townhomes in IL . Euro Tech is scheduled to come on Monday to check and give an estimate. The BBB reviews/complaints as of latest show some issues between them and customers.
This is one of the quote from the local company -
12 windows total ( 3 without grids in the glass )
17,240.00 total
6 ft. Patio door if purchased separately 4,595.00
( take 500.00 off if ordered at the same time as the windows )
The other quote I had received was from Renewal by Anderson and they were way over my budget costing around $33,000 because of their Fibrex material used in the window.
Does the first quote reasonable ? Once I am done with the Euro-tech appointment I will get better understanding.

Victor, I'd really need to know the window that you were being quoted on to know whether it's a fair bid or not...the RBA is ridiculous -- fibrex is vinyl and sawdust :) quite good, but they make it sound like it's the most insane material that's ever existed. Get the Euro Tech bid and then let's compare...
