Zola Windows Reviews

Zola Windows specializes in "European style" windows and doors that are marketed towards homeowners looking for highly energy efficient options. The company makes a number of models/materials, including a wood clad, aluminum, vinyl and wood windows. Scroll down to read our Zola Windows reviews.

Company Information

Zola has been in business since 2011, making them a relative newcomer to the window and door space. As I stated above, they tout themselves as the European American window and door maker - emphasizing their passive home or highly efficient windows and doors. FYI, a passive home is one in which very little energy escapes from the home, making it both environmentally responsible and very energy efficient. Price wise, Zola tends to be on the very expensive side.

Zola gets a 4.8 out of 5 stars based on 3 consumer reviews below.

Zola Windows Reviews

Currently, we are looking at a passive home remodel on our current home and I didn’t know if there were any brands or companies that I should look for. Truthfully, I’m just in the initial stages so if you had a list of recommended companies, I would really appreciate it.

Patrick, when it comes to a passive home, there are a couple of companies that come to mind. For one, Zola, and they make very good windows that I believe qualify as a passive home option. The other company is Intus, and they make a passive home window as well. Will probably have to work with your builder to see how the ordering process works.

Typically, it’s a little more expensive for the shipping, depending on where you were located. However, neither of these companies has wide distribution so they will probably have to be custom ordered and custom shipped. In short, these are the two companies I think of when I think of a passive home. Let me know what you find out because I would love to share that information with my users.

Zola Windows vs Intus and Cometal

I am building a passive house and we have bids from CoMetal, Zola, and Intus. We have thirty tilt turn windows and four large sliding doors - including one triple panel folding door.

Zola Classic Series: $49K
Intus Premium 78 Series: $50K ( Intus Windows Reviews )
Cometal: $58K

Barry, I'd go with the Zola at the lower price point. I have heard good things about their windows and doors -- and they are the least expensive. Let me also suggest that you take a look at our zola windows reviews page for more specific info on the company and the passive home options that they offer.
