Sunrise
Sunrise windows are considered a top tier vinyl window manufacturer by most contractors, consumers and industry insiders. Their top-of-the-line Restoration is one of our picks for the best replacement vinyl windows available. The standard Sunrise frame is quite solid and their other upgraded models, including the Verde Vanguard and Restoration, all use this basic frame, along with some nice glass, component and part upgrades. The only exception to this rule is their entry level Essentials models.
Sunrise has a dealer in New Orleans that has an excellent reputation for service and solid installation. How far North, West and East he services is not clear, however we know he does service the parish of Baton Rouge.

Window World
Window World starts out with their $189 installed window - this is certainly eye catching, although it is a "bare bones price" that is sometimes referred to as ala carte pricing. So, for instance, the screen will add to the cost, along with grids, low-e glass, spacers, an upgraded window series, etc. So by the time you get to a pretty decent window that will provide good ratings and energy efficiency, you might be looking at $300 to $400 per window. The question at that point is, "is this the best vinyl window I can buy at this price point." The honest answer is probably not.
While we are often cautious of recommending companies that specialize in lower end vinyl windows, such as Window World, we are making a recommendation for the franchise out of Baton Rouge, which does seem to get good reviews from consumers we have spoken to.

Replacement Windows In New Orleans, Louisiana
I have a quote for 92K for 5 double French doors (~40k) and 14 windows. This seems high. What are some of your alternatives? I am in the New Orleans area. Thanks!
