While a fairly small operation (compared to companies like NT Windows), the company sells two replacement window series, including the B21 and 9600 Series. Question about Buena Vista Windows in Dallas

Hello Dane, thanks for your website. I did sign up for the email and had a 5 window companies come and give me an estimate for windows. One of the windows companies gave me a window price estimate for Buena Vista Windows in Dallas. That was the most cost effective of them all. However, I couldnt find anything on your site about Buena Vista Windows. So, any information will be appreciated.

Do you have any information on how they stack up against the other window companies that I have received quotes from. These include Window World 4000 series, NT Executive, Burris AC, Alside Mezzo, AM windows, AMI windows and Renewal (Still waiting on Quotes).

I need only 2 windows replaced. Both have a full eye top and looking for a single hung with cardianal glass and low U and Solar heat gain coefficient. Specifically, estimates have been all the way from $2800 to $3500. But for the Buena Vista, they are in the low One thousand. As well, the installer was recommended by someone else for his good work.

One of the other installers will do it for $1600 for a couple of Burris AC windows, but making it so as to appear that he is giving me a huge discount in return for repeat business and for referral business as I am a realtor in these parts of North Texas.

Alroy, I have never heard of Buena Vista Windows. I took a look at their website and I think the windows look cheap. So, I would be wary of moving forward with them. That is, unless your timeline is less than 10 years in the home...then heck you can go with the lowest price point. Renewal windows will probably be too expensive - their quotes have been very high lately, but they make a nice looking window :)

The NT Executive is quite good. The Burris AC is very decent, as well as the Alside Mezzo. As well, I have never heard of AM Windows, and AMI makes a relatively budget window as well. However, I have two suggestions: Zen Windows and Don Young - see if you can find a local dealer for either of these brands.

Regardless, this is a process, and maybe overkill for just two windows. However, we'll get you sorted out! Google Don Young windows in Austin, Texas (insert your town/city) and that should bring up local companies who carry the brand.
