Florida Window and Door is a Florida based impact windows and door installer that has been in business since 1983. The company is headquartered in Lake Worth, Florida, but they have six locations throughout the state. Florida Window and Door Prices: $$$/$$$$
The company is an authorized dealer for both Wincore and PlastPro (perhaps others, although I wasn't able to unearth this information). Wincore is a solid brand, along with PlastPro. I wouldn't say either one is the best of the best, but both solid to top end mid range brands.
From what I could find online, Florida Window And Door offers a fairly comprehensive window warranty. This includes a 10 year labor warranty on their work. This means that if there is a manufacturing defect (or problem with the installation) with the windows or doors, the company will cover the labor cost to replace the windows and/or doors.

Looking to collect some window quotes to replace my windows here in Florida. I'd love to get your list of recommended windows if possible. I would rather not go with a big tv advertiser - Florida Window and Door. To be honest, I feel like I would just be paying for all the advertising dollars they are spending. Basically, I just want a good window at a fair price. I have a contractor that I trust to do all the work.

My Take On This Company: Still too new for me to either recommend or not recommend the company. Hopefully, in 2025, I will have a much better understanding of their overall services, etc.

Why impact windows and doors? Florida law says that if you live within a mile of a coast, your windows have to be able to stand up to winds of 130 miles. This is the reason that hurricane windows are so prevalent in the state (just in case that wasn't obvious).
