Are Mad City Windows Any Good? From the little I have heard, the company sells the brand EcoSky, which is still quite a bit of a mystery as far as I am concerned. The company used to sell Kensington, whose Quantum II was considered one of the best replacement windows on the market. In terms of company reviews, Mad City seem sto be a bit all over the place. Some review sites have them at almost perfect while others have them very low. It's a bit tough to know what to make of Mad City just yet. (Even though they have been offering their remodeling service for over 20 years.)

Mad City Windows Question

Hey guys, quick question for you. On your website, it says that they sells Kensington windows, however, when I go to your Kensington review page, it says the company is out of business. Was just curious if this was something that recently happened and maybe you just haven’t updated your page? Thanks so much. We were thinking about getting a bid from Mad City, but definitely wanted to know what they sold in the quality of their windows prior to getting the bid.

Jean, thanks for the question. It is a good one. So you are correct that our Mad City review page says that the company sells Kensington. However, I have recently learned at the company no longer sells this and instead sells EcoSky. I’m relatively certain that your follow-up question is going to be how our Eco Sky windows and my honest answer is that I don’t know (yet).

There are 1000 window manufacturers in the U.S. and it's difficult to know the intricacies of all 1000. I will tell you what I’m gonna do, which is I’m gonna go do some research on Eco Sky and get back to you with a response soon. Mad City Windows Reviews

I took your advise and got a quote from Mad City for 6 double hungs, 2 skylights, 1 patio door, and 1 entry door. They use a Quantum window that has sky mirror technology and apparently is their most efficient. They offered a couple other window series, but they said that this was their best. Curious what you thought of this company and what the price tag ought to be.

Amy, I can't tell you what the price ought to be just because there are so many unknowns for skylights and the two doors. I will say that Kensington is an excellent option in general - depending on which series you are buying of course. Kensington Windows reviews
