Magic Windows Reviews And Prices

Magic windows is a Toronto Canada based window, window wall, and patio door manufacturer and installer. The company opened operations in 1979 and maintained a factory in the United States -- it sold its vinyl windows through dealers across much of the United States. Economic downturns and lower demand for their windows and doors led the Canadian based company to cease its U.S. presence in the early 2000s. While there is still a company called Magic Glass Window by Regency, it is NOT associated with Magic Windows. Scroll down to read all of our Magic Windows reviews.

Canadian Price Quote

Hi Dane, thanks for your email, And appreciate your offer for advice. I had a read through the website, very useful. It seems a lot of the American brands are a bit trickier to find in Canada for windows. That said, there's three companies that have given me quotes:

1. Anderson: They said 19K (Canadian dollar) for just 5 fibrex windows (2 casement and 2 sliders and 1 fixed). Didn't think their price was very competitive. 40 year warranty.
2. Magic Windows: They said 22K for Ten windows, They have nice features like built in screens and non-crank casement designs. With steel claded vinyl windows. 40 year warranty on supposedly everything. U rating 0.26
3. Canadian Choice/Draught Lock windows: They said 14K. I've included the PDF of their quote above. For ten windows. Their frames are vinyl but apparently wider to resist warping but still with a thin profile to allow more glass. 25 year warranty on supposedly everything. U rating 0.22.

Sameem, I apologize I just don't know enough about these Canadian companies to give you any real advice. The Andersen Windows and Magic quotes sound high to me even with the USD conversion.

I am going to give you generic advice :) I would spend some time researching the online reviews of the companies that gave you the bids. I'd go with the company that has the best reviews from a substantial data set of consumers. And has been in business for quite some time. The window glass companies are both awesome - the two best in the business. I wish I had more for you :(
