Newriver 5300 Series vs Window Nations

I recently got some replacement window quotes for my house by a local reputable company. I chose this company based on your recommendation of Sunrise windows. The quote for the Sunrise windows was $11,900. He also quoted me Newriver 5300 series at $7,780. I told him I had been quoted Window Nation UltraView for $8,350 and their Georgetown Series for $8,725, he told me the Newriver 5300 are better then both the windows that Window Nation quoted.

Sunrise being out of my price range I wanted to find out more about the Newriver 5300. I did not find a review for Newriver or specifically Window Nation Georgetown or Ultra View. Thank you for having your website. I had no idea that buying windows would be so confusing.

Mike, honestly, I've never heard of New River windows so I can't comment on them. I would be wary myself of going with a completely unknown brand. You could get the performance data and compare the windows based on that.

The Ultra View is a Soft-Lite window, I believe it is their low end Barrington, but still a decent window. I think if the Sunrise is out of your price range, I'd go with Ultra View, I think it's better than the Georgetown.
