Northeast Windows
Hey Dane, I'm helping my dad pick out new windows for his home.
I was given a quote by a distributor for $1998 for 7 windows. We have it in our budget to go higher but bc of material delays and the pandemic, most distributors and installers aren't taking any orders.
We were given a quote on the Northeast Windows USA Brand, DH900 for 4 double hung and for their PW330 for the front living room window.
They also wanted to send me a quote for Crystal windows but their reviews were so bad, I said don't bother.
Now our contractor who has been lagging for over a month wants us to purchase Norandex Maxview windows but the cost of the windows jumps to $2900.
What are your thoughts between the brands?

Stacy, I’m not real familiar with any of these windows. I have certainly heard of all three and know them as general brands only. Norandex is a decent brand, but their max view is going to be their entry level window. Northeast Building Products makes a good window, but it sounds like that isn’t going to work from an ordering perspective.
I would take a look at my list of windows and see if you can find a better brand…but you will probably be looking at more money. If the question is Crystal or Norandex, I would go with the Norandex any day of the week.
