Prestige Windows & Doors Brands
PW & D sells two main window brands, which include PGT and CGI. While I don't hear much about CGI (the brand is actually owned by PGT Innovations, the parent company of PGT Windows And Doors), PGT has a good reputation for manufacturing quality impact windows in and around the state of Florida. PW & D services the following areas: Coral Gables, Miami Lakes, Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County, Monroe County.
Prestige Windows & Doors Warranty
The PW & D warranty is quite good - it is a bit of a marriage between the manufacturer (PGT and/or CGI) and the installer (Prestige). The warranty terms will mostly be dictated by the manufacturer, but Prestige offers what they call their Crystal Care Premium warranty. This includes accidental glass breakage and 10 years on labor for any defects in workmanship during the installation. I will update the specifics on PGT and CGI's warranty terms on their impact windows when I get the chance.

Prestige Price Quote Question
Dane, the wife and I received a bid from Prestige here in Miami Lakes on the PGT EnergyVue hurricane windows and doors. 11 windows, 2 slider doors - total bid was $22,600. Fair, not fair. Advice? Thank you in advance.

Jody, I definitely think that price quote is in the realm of reasonable for the EnergyVue series. Impact windows are pretty pricey these day so I think that is a very solid option. Get a few more bids and let's compare that price to some others- that will tell us definitely if the price is fair or not. My gut is saying yes, now let's get some data points to confirm. I will send you a list of impact window manufacturers that operate in and around florida.
