Remodel USA Reviews vs Okna
I reached out to Remodel USA for a quote on the Okna 500 series and she told me they could only quote the 800 series as they need the Kevlar reinforcement to qualify for code. So this can limit my choices/vendor?

Sue, to be honest I'm not sure what code is for your particular situation. I would still go forward and collect more bids. But I would use the bids as a play to get more information on exactly what code is REQUIRED in you condo. It could have to do with the floor you live on, etc. I would think of it as a fact finding mission.

Gina, the Okna is the best window, but not at that price. The Kensington Quantum 2 is very good, but I'm worried about the strength of the company. I would pass on that one. I think the WN Grandview is my choice, assuming that the branch has good online reviews. I like ProVia windows brand, but I think you should continue to collect a few more bids just to be sure.
