Mississippi Replacement Windows

Are there any issues with them being vinyl windows in the hot Mississippi sun? Evidently, I have heard that the corners sometimes fail. Got a bid from Southeastern Windows, but worried about the overall quality.

[Site Editor's Answer]

Melissa, there can be issues with cheap vinyl windows and patio doors. And there are A LOT of cheap manufacturers out there. You won't have that issue with quality products. Truthfully, the manufacturing process has come a long ways. You can always opt for aluminum clad, but they are much less energy efficient. On the flip side, they do look nice and sleek though. Finally, get a bid on both materials and visit a showroom or two to see the difference!
