FYI, this is a second home that will become our primary home in the next 5-10 years, and it is my goal to never have to replace these windows again.
[Website Editor Reply]David, I have no information on them and was surprised to see that they have been around for that long without really any consumer reviews. This would give me a lot of pause. I saw that they sell a Belmont series, which is part of Alliance windows. I'm really unsure if they are associated with them in any way.
Best Boston Replacement WindowsI live in Boston and am looking at replacing my windows. To that end, I am considering several brands that you appear to like, including Simonton and Harvey vinyl windows. Another company offers Stergis windows, who are local here in Massachusetts. What do you think of these guys as they relate to the other companies? Thanks for your time and consideration, it has been super helpful.
[Site Editor's Answer]Nate, I would rank the companies like this: Harvey, Simonton, Stergis. To be honest, I hear very little about Stergis. On the other hand, I hear lots about Harvey and Simonton, both of which I can openly endorse. If you want to send me the bids (summations are the best as I can't open attachments due to a virus issue a number of years back), I am happy to help you navigate through the process of selecting the best value/window for your situation. Just out of curiosity, how long do you plan to live in the home?
