What They SellThe company installs two main window and door brands - Interstate and Okna. While I don’t hear a ton about Interstate Windows And Doors, Okna are one of the three top brands as far as I’m concerned. I am assuming that the Okna is their premium vinyl window option, while the Interstate is going to be their less expensive brand option. Generally, both decent brands, but Okna would be my call by a good margin. Warranty DetailsThe company offers a quality warranty that includes a lifetime warranty on all of the window and door they sell. Technically, this portion of the warranty is offered by the manufacturer themselves. However, the company covers the labor cost to replace or repair the products they install. Further, because the warranty does not mention it, I’m assuming that it is non transferrable to a subsequent owner. The Aluminum Company of North Carolina ReviewsI have not received quotes from anyone selling Okna windows, but it seems you are a big fan. I'll use your form to see if I can get at least one okna windows pricing quote. Attached the 4 quotes I've received so far. Not thrilled about any of them. Also, how much should I expect to pay. We have 35 windows and are in the Raleigh NC areas. Most of my windows are double hung standard sizes and one big eyebrow picture window on top of the door.
[Site Editor's Answer]Carlos, prices are so all over the board these days that it's impossible to say what you should pay. Plus I don't really know the specifics of your project (which is very important). You're on the right track though collecting those bids. So far, I'm not loving the price point thus far. And yes, the Window World price quote is the lowest, but that is not a good window for the most part. Out of curiosity, is this retrofit installation or new construction?
