What They SellWindows Plus sells a number of different window series, including ProVia, Vytex, Marvin, Simonton and Thermal Windows, Inc. All in all, a pretty impressive line up. Generally, the company gets decent reviews. Certainly worth a look and a project bid to see what they come in at. I definitely like some of the brands they sell, particularly the ProVia Windows And Doors.

Soft-Lite Elements vs ProVia AspectHello Dane, I am in the middle of reviewing quotes for window replacements again...had to delay during COVID. I was hoping you could assist me in reviewing quotes from a couple of companies I have contacted. Both have great reviews online, but one is a local, family owned company (Cincinnati, OH area). I have 11 windows on my ranch home. We plan on staying at this home long term (10+ years).
[Site Editor's Answer]Mitch, absolutely on the local company and the ProVia Aspect. The Aspect is the better option over the Soft-Lite Barrington and is the much better value over the Elements. (The Elements is the better window by a bit, but not at that price difference.) I would say that if this is your forever home, then you might want to go back to the Soft-Lite dealer and see if they could come down on the price and consider this option. However, for the most part, the ProVia Aspect bid is the best option of the bunch in my estimation!
Windows Plus Reviews 2024I have a price quote on 8 double hungs at $7.3K from Window Nation on their Georgetown series. It comes with a lifetime warranty. Or I have a bid from Windows Plus on the Fortis series, but that came out $11.4K. Which is the better deal do you think?
[Site Editor's Answer]Bob, I think the Georgetown is probably the better value here. If you plan to be in the home long term, then I think you step up to the nicer window in the Fortis.
Windows Plus CincinnatiHi Dane, I am looking for vinyl windows here in Cincinnati. Renewal by Andersen prices were just too much. Champion is an option for me, although their bid was $3,000 above the Pella 250 price.
[Site Editor's Answer]Bob, the Pella 250 and Champion are roughly on par, although I'd give the advantage to Champion windows. I might suggest 2 more bids just to even out what you have.
Windows Plus ReviewsDane, we have 20 windows to replace and are down to two bids.
Ken, the Soft-Lite Elements for the $14.3K is the obvious choice here. No need to deal with Gilkey, which is over priced. The Elements is one of the very best vinyl windows on the market and seeing as how Windows Plus gets such good reviews, this would be the path I would go with!
