American Thermal Window Products Windows And Doors
American Thermal Window installs a number of well established and respected brands, which include Pella, Marvin Windows & Doors, Andersen, Great Lakes Windows. This means that the company has access to a number of different window frames, including vinyl, fiberglass, wood clad, and composite window and patio doors.
American Thermal Window Products Windows Warranty
American Thermal Window Products provides a lifetime labor warranty to the original buyer of their windows and doors. The warranty is transferrable, however it isn’t clear what timeline then applies to the new owner or what steps they need to take to inform ATWP of the title transfer.
In terms of the actual windows and patio doors, that warranty is provided by the manufacturer (Andersen or Pella, etc.) Warranty terms and timelines will typically be based on the window frame material. Generally, the manufacturers guarantee that their windows and doors will be free from manufacturing defects. Again, the actual timeline will be based on the individual products. See our replacement windows warranty page to see the specific warranty terms and timelines for most manufacturers.

American Thermal Window Products
Hi Dane, we live in Chicago and are looking to replace 10 casement windows in a 1967 split level brick home. We’ve received estimates from Home Depot (Wincore $9000), Lowe’s (Pella $12,000), a smaller local window and door co called American Thermal (Polaris $12,000). Renewal by Andersen ($28,000), and an independent installer provider ( Advanced Window $8,000).
The house is my mom’s who is 84 years old on a limited income. We’re thinking of going with Home Depot because they also offer 24 months with 0 interest. Do you know if their product is comparable to Polaris? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed.

Katie, I've never heard of Home Depot selling the Wincore brand, what area are you in? I like Wincore Windows, which are on par with Simonton generally speaking (their more premium series that is). If you are in the home long term, then the American Thermal Polaris for $12,000 makes more sense to me. The Renewal by Andersen prices big is way out there so that's an easy one.
