What Windows They Sell
I have spent some time trying to dig into what the company sells in terms of their windows and doors. So far, no luck. In fact, Home Genius Exteriors doesn't get mentioned much in terms of their window and door installation. I get the sense the company is much more involved in roofing over any other home improvement services. If and when I discover which windows (and doors) they sell and install, I will be sure to update the page.
Home Genius Exteriors Lawsuit
Thus far, I have found no evidence that a consumer lawsuit was ever filed against the company. However, the company is also very new to the industry so this is not that all that surprising. I will say that on several subreddit threads, I found quite a bit of anger about how the company goes after their customers. (This is mainly for roofing or replacement roofs.)
Many of the post-ers said that Home Genius Exteriors canvases neighborhoods (known as a direct-to-consumer approach similar to Apex Energy Solutions) and then knocks on doors and offers to do a free roof inspection. If the homeowner says yes, they then use the opportunity to provide a roof project bid that involves a promotional price (considerably less than their initial price quote) if the consumer signs a work order on the spot. This is a somewhat common approach and one that I don't love for several reasons.
