American Jewel Window Prices

Explore American Jewel window prices and costs on their various models and series. American Jewel Window Systems is a New Jersey based vinyl window manufacturer. They offer a number of different window styles and configurations in the 3 window series, the 1400, 1500 and their premium 1700 windows. The also offer standard low-e windows or the upgraded HeatGate glass package, which provides better energy efficiency and more options.

The windows come standard in a bright white or creme white interior and/or exterior, or can be upgraded with the Spectrum Color option, which provides some 24 color selections at an additional cost. In addition, the HeatGate glass option is available in an interior woodgrain laminate that provides the look of a real wood interior, without the maintenance or expense.

The features and performance numbers on the American Jewel windows are actually quite solid. It is interesting that the company doesn't get the best reviews online (see all of our American Jewel Windows Reviews page).

American Jewel Series 1400

The American Jewel 1400 window is the entry level vinyl window. It comes with standard features that include a sloped sill, tilt in for easy cleaning (on the hung windows), night latches, cam action locks,Intercept spacer, and a block and tackle balancing system. Performance wise, the 1400 Series with the standard low-e glass will deliver a .30 U-factor, .29 SHGC, .53 visible transmittance, and .16 air infiltration. These numbers are okay, although the AI number is high. The American Jewel 1400 is comparable to Simonton Daylight Max review.

American Jewel Series 1500

The American Jewel 1400 window is their mid range vinyl window. It comes with standard features that include a sloped sill, tilt in for easy cleaning (on the hung windows), night latches, cam action locks,Intercept spacer, and a block and tackle balancing system. Performance wise, the 1500 Series with the standard low-e glass will deliver better numbers than the Series 1400, including a .26 U-factor, .28 SHGC, .49 visible transmittance, and .16 air infiltration. These numbers are better, although the AI number is high. The American Jewel 1500 is comparable to Alside Mezzo window cost.

American Jewel Series 1700

The American Jewel 1400 window is their premium vinyl window. The 1700 windows comes with all the standard features as the base model, including a sloped sill, tilt in for easy cleaning (on the hung windows), night latches, cam action locks,Intercept spacer, and a block and tackle balancing system. Additional features include a more slimline design, a composite reinforced sash and a foam filled frame. As well, the 1700 comes with a lifetime protection against glass breakage. Performance wise, the 1700 Series with the standard low-e glass will deliver a .25 U-factor, .28 SHGC, .51 visible transmittance, and .07 air infiltration. These numbers are quite good, including the AI, which is very respectable. The American Jewel 1500 is comparable to Stanek windows prices.

American Jewel Windows Warranty

The company offers a pretty decent warranty on their windows, including a lifetime provision on their frame and dash, hardware, IGU, and glass breakage. According to the website, this is with their upgraded HeatGate option. The HeatGate warranty is transferrable one time to a new owner.

The standard low-e glass package includes a lifetime provision on all the parts, except for the glass breakage provision that is only good for 3 months from the date of purchase.
