Home : Replacement Window Prices : Harvey Harvey Windows PricesHarvey windows prices from consumers and homeowners on the Slimline, Classic, Tribute, Vigilance, Majesty, Acoustic, and Storm windows.vinyl window market. Based in the Northeast region, Harvey manufactures a good solid product at a somewhat affordable price. They don't have the ratings to match some of the premium lines, but Harvey is well regarded in the industry for producing reliable windows and decent customer service. They have several glass packages available so homeowners can upgrade to a more efficient window if the budget allows.

Harvey Platinum Window CostsI have gotten 2 bids for 18 replacement windows: 12 double hung; 1 double casement, 3 single casement and 1 picture window. Thermo Seal Platinum Edition by Harvey is $16,200 and Provia Endure is $16,000.00. Thermo Seal company is in business 36 yrs and Provia is in business 3 yrs. Who makes a better window? Thanks. Also do you know where I can find info on window costs per square foot?
[Site Editor's Answer]John, so I looked up Thermo Seal company out of New York and they certainly seem to have excellent reviews. This is impressive (if this is the company we are talking about). I think I would say that the ProVia Endure is probably better than anything that Harvey makes. The Harvey Tribute is the premium vinyl window they sell so I'm not sure if the Platinum Edition is a specialty made window for Thermo Seal.
Harvey Windows Prices :: Slimline SeriesThe Slimline Series is their entry level vinyl window. The frame is 1/4 inch thinner than the one used for the Classic and Tribute, allowing for maximum glass area, even sightlines and an STC of 28. However, the frame will not give you very good performance ratings and we would recommend this window for smaller openings.
-- Estimated Harvey Slimline Price: $500 to $650 installed --
Hello, I have 8 double hungs to be replaced in Columbus, Ohio. I wanted to ask your opinion on the matter with the 7 quotes I have so far from different contractors:
Pat, the best value in your impressive grouping is the ProVia Endure by quite a bit in my opinion. Of course, I would google the different companies [company name reviews] who came out and gave you the bids and make sure that any bid you consider comes with impressive reviews/ratings. I would probably put the Slimline second and the Simonton 5500 third.
Have a bid from a Harvey dealer and includes capping.
The Classic Series is a quality mid tier vinyl window. Many contractors consider this their best valued window. It uses a block and tackle balancing system and has slightly more glass than the Tribute. The upper sash has a 3 5/8 inch depth and the lower sash is just slightly less deep at 3 1/8 inch.
-- Estimated Harvey Classic Price: $550 to $750 installed --
We’ve received four quotes on 17 double hungs, one small(ish) basement window, and one front door.
Hi Dane, I live in Massachusetts and had a reputable contractor quote me a price of $7200 ($900 per standard size window) for 8 Classic double hungs. Is the pricing in the ballpark or a bit on the high-end.
Dave, I would say in today's market, that's a fair price at the top of what is reasonable. I would put it in the maybe column and continue my search. A good window at a relatively fair price. (The caveat here would be the reviews/ratings of the install company -- google "[install company name] reviews" and see what comes up. If they have stellar reviews then they just might deserve that price...)
Hey Tim, we have two quotes on vinyl replacement widows. One installer wanted to install 9 double hungs using provia aspect mid grade replacements for a total of 6,900.00. The other company wanted to install 9 Harvey classic dh windows for a total of 8,100.00, which do you feel is the better way to go?
We are replacing 19 windows sizes varying as follows 35 x69 (5), 35 x59 (6), the rest are either 35 x 45 (8)
Hi Dane, I'm comparing two quotes for 15 double-hungs in the Boston area: Harvey Classic at $575/window and Zen Nirvana series (SoftLite Classic) at $660. Both installers are well reviewed and seem conscientious. You seem to rate the two windows as comparable, with the Zens maybe having a slight advantage. Where would you put the "breakeven" price difference for this comparison? I also have requests for quotes out to Okna and Sunrise.
Daniel, the price quotes on the windows look fair. The price difference looks like what I'd expect. Why don't you wait until you get the Okna and Sunrise bids and then send me everything and we can see if one of these presents a better option. So far though, two good bids on quality products and two good installer options -- we are well on our way!
Dane, first I want to thank you very much for the all the help. Are the Mezzo and the Classic similar in price. i'm getting a price for 14 Mizzo double hungs installed at $625 each. Seems a pretty good price. I'm going to discuss using Harvey Classic but I want to know what I'm talking about
Alan, I would opt for the Harvey Classic over the Alside Mezzo. A more structurally sound window in my opinion. $625 is a very fair price given what prices have been doing lately. Best of luck with your upcoming project!
We are down to two quotes (I requested to remove one bay from the original quote) for 20 double hung and 1 smaller bay windows:
Jacky, I would probably go with the business with 40 years under their belt. The Soft-Lite Pro would probably be the decision I would make. I think if I really felt comfortable with the dealer/installer, I might really consider the Zen Lotus 3 panel of glass for $22,500.
I'm looking at Harvey Classic windows and the Okna 500 series. I have 15 windows and a price of $700 per window for the Harvey Classic. I don't have pricing from my contractor for the Okna windows but I expect it will be in the $700 range. Is there anything special about installing the Okna. I only ask because the dealer I went to look at the windows would not sell them to my contractor. He would only sell them if he could install them. I want to use my contractor because he is doing another project for me at the same time.
Hi Michael, so I'm not surprised that the Okna dealer wouldn't sell you just the window. That happens sometimes, but not all that often. The Okna 500 is the better window over the Harvey Classic, but the Classic is still a good window. $700 for just the window strikes me as expensive though. $700 for the window and installation is a fair price. A little on the high side, but that could be based on the size of the windows, upgrades, and/or installation requirements.
Thank you for your help. The $700 price includes installation. I've used this company before and they did a great job.
I'm replacing 22 windows in a NJ seaside community (salt air / sun), mostly DH with 2 large sliders (70"x59"). After looking at 7 different models, I've narrowed it to 3 - the Harvey Classic ($430 per), the Window World 4000 series w/ Solar Zone pkg ($500/ per) and the Okna 500 deluxe ($650 per). The technical specs on the Okna are better, but are they worth that much more? Any recommendations or thoughts?
Hi Mike. First off, all of those prices look very fair to me. The Harvey Classic is a good vinyl window. The Okna 500 DX is an excellent window. With professional/quality installation, I would say either will serve you well. I tend to think that price difference is big enough to strongly consider the Classic series. Maybe combine the Harvey with an upgrade like a glass package or sash reinforcement to get it a bit stronger and still be in that $500 a window range. Still a smoking deal at that price point, not something I can say right now to most consumers. Prices have been very high of late.
Hi Dane, I'm trying to decide on several quotes for 15 double hungs, two 25/50/25 picture/double hung, picture. There are all for full frame replacements.
We are going to replace 15 double hungs and 1 picture window. Also we are going an exterior painted vinyl window, which has definitely added to the cost bids.
Andrew, pretty solid bids to choose from. My top 3 would be the following:
We are replacing 24 windows and one slider door. The Soft-Lite Pro bid was $19,122, while the Harvey Classic was $16,875.
Bob, both of these windows are good and the price you have on each is solid. If I were staying long term in the house, I'd do the Soft-Lite Pro, and if I were here 10 or less years, I'd go with the Harvey Classic.
Hi, I’ve been quoted the following for replacing 5 double hungs and one slider:
Marquita, both of those quotes are good in terms of cost. The Preservation is usually bid out at quite a bit more than what you are looking at. Both the Preservation and the Classic are good quality windows. I would lean towards the Preservation in a strictly window comparison.
I have 28 windows that need to be scrapped and revamped with replacement windows. Love to get your take on what I have so far.
Honestly, those are all reasonable bids. Take your pick based on your preferred price point (the Gentek windows are not the same quality as the others though.)
I am currently debating b/n Harvey Classic series and Okna 500 series. In total, we have 16 windows, although 2 are complex XOX set ups. Each one carries a 20 year labor warranty
Matt, the Okna 500 would be my number 1 pick, followed by the Harvey Classic option.
I'm getting quotes on my window replacement project that consists of 8 openings. So far, I have a bid on the Harvey Classic for $4K and on the Pella 250 series for $3300.
We are replacing 23 windows that all come with grids and require aluminum capping on the outside. All the companies that we have bids from seem pretty legit so I'm confused.
I have 2 estimates from local contractors so far:
I have a bid on the Harvey Classic for 15 windows and it came out to $8075 total or $583 per window. Is this fair?
Dan, this is definitely in the ballpark of what I would expect you to pay for the Harvey Classic. I would certainly try to negotiate that price down and see if there is any wiggle room, but yes I think it's fair.
Hi Tim,Thanks got your reply. I did got a few quotes from others like Renovso, and Zen windows. Renovso proposed the exact Harvey classic but is about $1500 more total including the bay and patio door. Zen windows propose the softlite classic and is about $4500 more. I decided to go with the Harvey classic which is energy star qualify and have a U factor of 0.25. They also give me a life time elite dealer window warranty. One last question, do u like the Harvey vinyl patio door? Also do u like casement vs double hung on the bay window? Is there any difference in performance between double hung and casement? Thanks again.
I have to say I've never seen the Harvey patio door, so I can't say one way or the other. I prefer the side casement to the double hung on the bay window, but that's simply because I like casements and there is a larger area for ventilation with the casement. I think it's really personal preference more than anything else.
Wymond, I have a quote for replacement 17 Harvey classic double windows for $460 a windows. Also 2 bay windows and a patio door for $9200 installed. Is this price fair and reasonable? How is the Harvery vinyl windows perform compare to the Andersen 400 series windows. The Anderson quote is about $7500 more. Thanks.
Wymond, Harvey makes a good vinyl window, very solid. They aren't as nice as the Andersen 400 series, which is a high quality wood clad window, but wood windows come with their own unique set of issues. I like the Harvey Classic (assuming you are getting good installation from their team). In terms of the cost, both of them sound pretty fair, both the Harvey quote and the Andersen quote as well. If it were me, I'd get one more quote, something lower, and then go back to the Harvey rep and say you want to go with them but they are a bit out of your price range -- if they could get close to your other lower quote, you are ready to sign the papers. See if they come down off their price...
I bought an old house in Boston and there are about 26 windows in the original part of the house that match in style but are slightly different sizes in different rooms. Then there are another dozen windows throughout in the newer parts of the house of varying sizes and styles. Almost all seem to be original to their time periods. About 80% are 6 over 6. They are all covered with aluminum triple track storms that are in fair to poor condition.
Jason, the Harvey Classic and Harvey Tribute are both very solid mid range vinyl windows and the price you are getting quoted is very good. I can't say whether your contractor is marking them up, if he is, not by much. I think it makes sense to do the new construction where possible, the only real difference is the nail fin that comes with it and allows for more secure installation along the header and sides.
We are replacing about 26 windows, all slightly different sizes in different rooms. I looked around, but the prices I'm getting for historically accurate simulated divided light windows are pretty high. Heirloom windows are very accurate but we are getting quoted out at $1000 per window.
Jason, the Harvey Classic and Harvey Tribute are both very solid mid range vinyl windows and the price you are getting quoted is very good. Are there better windows out there? Absolutely, but not many in the $300 to $400 range.
Renewal by Andersen are coming in at over $1200 per window.
Deborah, the $460 window price you received on the Harvey is right there in the ballpark, it's a very fair price from an industry average.
I have 21 window quotes with colonial grids, exterior capping and all of the installation included. Which of these options is better in your opinion?
John, the HiMarks are the best, the 800 is better than the 400 series but they both beat the Simonton and Harvey. Better manufacturing, design, appearance, energy efficiency, pretty much everything.
I have quotes on 2 bay windows and 12 double hungs. Any opinion on which is the better option?
Bryan, the Alside Excalibur is not a good window, so I won't comment on the price. The Harvey Classic is a solid vinyl window, it's certainly the winner in this horse race.
The Tribute Series is their high end vinyl window. At a price point close to the Simonton 5500, it looks better and often wins out when the two are compared. Some consider the frame to be a little bulky. The U-value is around 0.30 and it has a DP of 30. The triple pane option can lower these numbers, but this might be overkill. The Harvey Tribute is comparatively priced with Champion windows prices.
-- Estimated Harvey Tribute Price: $600 to $800 installed --
I'm consider two different options and would love to hear which you would pull the trigger on. We have five windows and just one slider.
Wendy, I would go with the Harvey Tribute probably first, but the ThermalWeld would be very close behind. Both of these are great, honestly I don't think you can go wrong here.
Just finished with the OKNA (800/500 series) rep and the presentation was great would definitely like to purchase.
Thomas, my first pick would be the ProVia Endure for $16.5K. Second would be Harvey Tribute for $17.3K. The Okna is awesome, but it’s simply not worth the additional cost that they’re asking…
Hi Dane, hoping I can get your advice. I live on the shoreline in CT and am replacing ten of my windows. Can you please look at attached quote and let me know what you think. Are there more cost-effective windows I should be looking at in my area? You seem to like the Harvey Tribute but 500/window is a little more than I was hoping to spend. Maybe because my window dimensions are not very common?? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Michael, $500 a window for the Harvey Tribute sounds very reasonable to me -- this includes installation? That was not clear to me on the work order.
Thanks so much for responding. Installation would be an extra 175$ per window. So 5k for 10 Harvey Tribute windows plus another 1750 for installation, total 6750. I do see the Harvey Tribute is on your list of Top Tier so that is encouraging.
Michael, $175 a window for installation is fair, as long as the install team has a reputation for quality work. $675 installed for a Harvey Tribute is a very fair price given the current market. I'm seeing prices more in the $800 to $1000 per window, which is crazy...best of luck in your upcoming project!
Hi Dane, here's what we've got:
Assuming the Harvey dealer has good to great online reviews, this is where I would go. The Classic and Tribute are better than all of those Pella options. I do like the Andersen 400 series, but vinyl makes a lot more sense to me from a long term ROI perspective. If you have to have wood clad windows, then this is a viable solution, but I think vinyl is the way to go.
My contractor thinks we should get Harvey for $290 per opening, not including cost of installation.
We are replacing 35 windows in our Pennsylvania house. My contractor wants me to go with the Tribute, which I like. It had lots of features and options, and he quoted me at $390 per window installed. Some of my windows are small, so that's why the per window price is lower than normal I guess. The Okna 500 was $455 per window and the 800 was $490 per window.
Hi Max, this is a tough answer because the Harvey Tribute is a good window. The Okna 500 is an excellent window and the 800 is the best vinyl window on the market in my opinion. If it were me I would stretch into as much as I could, but again there is nothing wrong at all with the Tribute series.
Our house is getting a remodel and we have mostly double hungs (some of the smaller bathroom windows that require a tempered glass), 1 horizontal slider and several basement hopper windows. The quotes we have
Tina, the Sunrise Restorations is one of the best vinyl windows out there and the price you are getting is frankly very low. The Harvey Tribute is a good window and the price is actually good, but the Tribute can't compete with the Restorations.
I have a quote on the Harvey Tribute - 14 double hungs, a horizontal slider and one bay window. The cost with installation is $8,000. Does this sound reasonable?
The Tribute is a very decent window and that bid sounds very competitive. However, you are going to want to get a couple more bids to make sure that the price you were quoted out at is indeed competititve. In order to do this, you need to get the bids on comparable windows like Champion, Milgard, Polaris and perhaps a Wincore.
The Vigilance series is an impact or hurricane window that is built to withstand severe storms in coastal areas that are subject to hurricanes etc. The company isn't necessarily known for their impact windows, so consumers may want to consider going with a manufacturer that focuses more on impact type windows. The performance numbers are just so so, most consumers can expect the double hung with the low-e argon fill option to delvier a 0.30 U-factor, 0.28 SHGC and 0.51 VT. The Harvey Vigilance is comparable to Simonton 9800 Impression prices.
-- Estimated Harvey Vigilance Price: $800 to $1,000 installed --
The Majesty wood clad window is the only wood clad offering from the company and, similar to their impact windows, is really not what the company is known for. The Majesty comes in a solid pine interior, with an exterior aluminum cladding. The Majesty comes as either a double hung or as a casement and includes several nice features, including two recessed cam locks, a block and tackle balance, aluminum sill expander and a tilt sash on the double hung.
-- Estimated Harvey Majesty Price: $850 to $1,050 installed --
The Acoustic series will deliver an STC window rating of 44 for the double hung and picture windows, while the casement will deliver an STC window rating of 40. Both of these are pretty solid numbers, not the top-of-the-heap in terms of soundproofing or noise attentuation (the Milgard Quietline window has a 48 STC, but is VERY expensive), but definitely a good option to consider if you are looking for reasonable sound control option at a fair price.
-- Estimated Harvey Vigilance Price: $700 to $900 installed --
The durable storm windows that are some of the best out there. They offer two models, the Deadlite and theTru-Channel. The Deadlite storm is the less expensive option that uses an extruded aluminum frame, along with screwed corners and marine vinyl glazing. The Dealite model can be ordered in black, bronze, almond or white on both the interior and exterior.
-- Estimated Harvey Storm Price: $800 to $1,000 installed --
-- Estimated Harvey Door Price: $800 to $1200 installed --
We're replacing 2 patio slider doors and have narrowed it to two options.
Jay, I would say that the Zen Nirvana is worth $500 more per doors. Harvey makes a decent door though if you are fine with a middle of the road vinyl door.
Hi Tim - I found your site extremely helpful for my research. Could you give me a price on a Harvey Classic vinyl patio doors. I want the basic model with the Energy Star glass. Not sure of whether it is 6' 7' or 8'. If you could tell me the price for each with and without installation.
Suzanne, I can't give you a quote on their products since I don't work there -- call up the Harvey rep in your area and have them come out and give you a quote. Tell the salesperson that you are collecting three to four bids from local window companies and that you are on somewhat of a limited budget.
I have a question regarding Hervey casements. Could you give me a ballpark figure of what it cost to upgrade these windows with Energy Star rated glazing? I think there are two levels of glazing. I am just looking for the lowest level which makes a higher rating of .26 I believe.
Dave, I would say $100 to $150 each would be my best guess. Use Yelp and call up some highly rated window repair companies, they usually give free estimates.
