ClearView Window Brands

Clearview sells and installs some great window brands. These include Okna, Oknoplast Windows, MI Sunrise, Pella, Marvin and ProVia. The company's overall reviews are decent, but perhaps not great.

ClearView Windows Reviews

We had Clearview Window come out and give us a bid the Okna 500 ($577 per window) and on the Okna 800 ($664 per window). This is against a bid from Window Nation on the Soft Lite Envision ($654 per window). Thoughts?

[Site Editor's Answer]

Jim, if these were my options, I'd go with the Okna 500 for $577. That's a great price. The Soft-Lite Envision is decent (it is essentially the Bainbridge series), but the Okna bids are better in my opinion.

ClearView vs Weatherlok And Simonton

I've received quotes for WeatherLok, Simonton 5500, Alside Preservation Series and ClearView window from two different companies for 14 double hung windows. They do their own installation and have a long list of references for me to check so I feel like the install quality is covered. I can't figure out the differences between these brands. The ClearView bid is $5500, the Weatherlok is $6400, the Simonton is $7200 and the Preservation is $8500.

[Contractor Response]

I don't think there's much to love with the Alside window and the Weatherlok is an okay window, not the same quality as the Simonton (although I need to know the actual models to compare apples to apple.) I know nothing about the ClearView so I won't comment on it. Simonton Windows are decent in the vinyl market and probably your best best out of those four. To be honest, I might get more window quotes to compare pricing. Also, maybe check out more online ClearView windows reviews in order to drill down on the quality of their services.
