Our Verdict: Pretty decent reviews, but maybe not stellar. A good sampling of brand options so I think for Angelenos, this is worth a bid. Of all their brands, I think I might opt for Amerimax vinyl windows and Sierra Pacific and Milgard for wood clad. However, I do think wood clad windows are something of a gamble in terms of how long they typically hold up.

Frontier Windows And Doors Warranty Coverage

The company’s website is pretty threadbare in terms of what they covered and don’t cover in terms of labor costs and timeline. They say they offer a full warranty, but that doesn’t really help me understand if its transferrable and how long they cover the cost to replace or repair for the original buyer. Of course, the product warranty will come from the manufacturer itself. Los Angeles Replacement Windows

Hello, I would love your list of recommended windows as I'm currently in the "researching" phase. Specifically, I need 10 double hung, 1 single, 1 sliding patio door and possibly 2 awnings. (They work great, just won't match when I'm done replacing the rest). I live in the Northern part of Los Angeles. So far, I have one bid from Frontier, but I don't know whether it's too much or not. Also, I'm interested in vinyl and composite windows, and possibly fiberglass (although probably too pricey).

Further, I currently have aluminum original to the 1983 ranch I'm in and they are just horrible windows. (I almost lost a fingertip last year due to the mechanism being shot while I was trying to close and it slammed down). I have a sunroom I'm not replacing because they are vinyl and newer (although hard to open and close, sunroom is 3 season). Thank you!
