Tri State Window Factory Reviews

Tri State Window Factory is a New York based company that has been in the window and door business since 1969. While not well known outside of New York, the company enjoys a decent reputation amongst local industry insiders for quality products and optional installation. Tri State offers a handful of factory outlets where contractors, handmen, and homeowners can purchase replacement windows and doors. The company also offers its own (optional) installation services on windows, doors, vinyl siding, roofing, and gutters. Overall, this is a somewhat unique approach to selling home improvement products.

Overall Rating: Tri State Window Factory Windows gets a 4.0 out of 5 stars based on 1 consumer review below.

Standard features on Tri State's premium windows include the following: double weatherstripping, triple pane glass, a warm edge spacer, fully welded main frame and sash (where applicable), aluminum lift rail reinforcement, two coat low-e glass, dual action locking system, and foam fills. On its face, this is an impressive list of features.

The company sells all of the usual suspects in terms of window styles, and these include double hungs, sliding windows, picture windows, casement and awnings, bay and bow configurations, tilt and slide, as well as hopper windows.

"Tri State offers an impressive list of features on its premium series. What troubles me is that I can't find ANY warranty information on the company's products."

Tri State Window Factory Warranty

I have googled Tri State specifically looking for warranty details, but come up empty handed. My working conclusion is that the company offers no warranty on their products, but instead relies on the installer to provide the warranty. If correct, this is similar in approach to a company like Amsco Windows. This isn't the worst thing because it allows the company to lower their price point for consumers, and then places the onus of responsibility for any warranty issues on the installer.
