BM Windows is a window and door installer that has operated in San Diego, California since 2007. The company offers vinyl window and patio door installation and carries two high quality brands. They install both Anlin and BayView - although please note that BayView is made by Anlin, but marketed as a stand along product that is geared toward a lower price point consumer. BM Window Warranty

BM offers a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. This includes on the windows and all labor associated with the installation. Additionally, they include an accidental glass breakage provision. It's not quite clear to me how long this labor warranty is good for. Further, the company does not talk about transferability to a subsequent owner. However, the window warranty will come from Anlin Windows And Doors, which does offer a very good warranty on their products.

BM vs JWG

Dane, we have to replace our 2 sliding patio doors and 8 windows - one is very large and the other is a hexagon. Recently, we had AV out and they said they can sell us the Del Mar $12,900 or the Mar Vista - their budget line. However, I didn't appreciate their rather pushy sales tactics (my husband agreed). We also had BM out and they sell the Catalina - their bid came in lower at $11,000. Lastly, we had JWG, who sold the Simonton Daylight Max $9700. Both BM and JWG have very good reviews and we definitely liked their reps ovr the ones from American Vision Windows.

Don, I would go with the BM Windows bid myself. If you don't plan to be in the home longer than 10 years, then I would go with the bid from JWG Windows And Doors. Either of these two options sounds like the right call for your situation.
