What They Carry And Sell
What windows and doors does Kelly Window And Door sell? The company is a certified Sunrise Windows dealer, which is a brand that I really like. Of course, Sunrise is now owned by MI Windows And Doors. So, the Sunrise series now go by the name MI V4000, V4500, V4550 etc. However, my advise is to stick with the 4000 or higher series! I find the new naming system a bit confusing myself.
Instead, they should have kept the original Sunrise names: Classic, Verde, Vanguard, and Restorations. They did not, and I think they are the poorer for it. My advise would be to ask the salesman to name the series you are buying and confirm that you are purchasing a-once-was Sunrise window series.
Warranty Information
What are Kelly Window And Door warranty terms? I’m not exactly sure what the company warranty is — google’s AI makes all kinds of claims, but they seem to be using the Sunrise Solace window as the basis for their claims. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the labor warranty details on the company site.
From a product perspective, Sunrise offers a very good warranty on their vinyl windows and patio doors. I have the information summarized on our replacement windows warranties page, along with perhaps 75 other window and door brands.

Hi Dane, we are considering two separate price quotes and would love to get your take on which is the better deal. So, we have 23 windows total, a few of which are pretty big. Thus far, here is what I've got:
Kelly Window and Door (selling the Sunrise Restorations Series) at $31.5K versus The
Aluminum Window Company (selling the Okna 600) $22.4K. Which is the better option if this were your own replacement challenge?

Jenny, both excellent options in my opinion, but Okna 600 windows at $9000 less is the very easy decision here. This is, of course, assuming that The Aluminum Window Company of North Carolina gets good reviews. (I want to say that they do generally get positive marks from many consumers, but I would have to double check.) You are in good hands with Okna.

Kelly vs Window World
We called Window World but we didn't get past their sleazy sales guy. We had someone come out for an estimate, but he only measured a few windows and then said he would have to send someone else out for the rest. He asked us to sign a credit check form so if we decided to finance he wouldn't have to come back out for more paperwork. At least that's what he said. A couple of days later we found out that he opened an account for us to buy windows with a huge limit, which we never said he could do.
We tried to close the account and since then have been getting nasty phone calls and letters threatening to sue us. The second guy never came out to finish measuring, we never got an estimate or picked windows or anything. I don't know how they think they can convince a judge that we agreed to buy from them. I've never even imagined that any business could work this way. Ended up going with Kelly Window And Door and the job got done right.
