NW&D offers a good warranty to its consumers. Specifically, they offer a lifetime warranty on both their installation and their window and door brands. Now, they do make a point of saying the warranty only applies to the original buyer. Therefore, the warranty is not transferrable to a subsequent owner. This is how they get you, of course, but the lifetime installation warranty is a nice feature to have.

San Diego Window Replacement

Hi Dane. So, for the San Diego area, I’m curious if the below estimate is overpriced for Anlin Catalina windows and their Malibu sliding glass door. My windows are pretty big, and therefore will be more expensive than the average sized windows. Further, all windows are sliders. Project price: $7,619.00. Sizes are as follows: 91 x 56.5 XOX, 8’ Patio Slider 94 x 78 OX, 91 x 40.5 XOX, 91 x 56.5 XOX, 55 x 56 XO, and 55 x 56 OX.

Also, not sure how much COVID has increased window prices for this work as of late. Finally, I don’t need to get this done right now. I may wait until things return to “normal” and prices stabilize before pulling the trigger. Lastly, any feedback is appreciated.

Steve, that's not a bad looking bid for what I've been seeing lately. Generally, window replacement cost has increased 25% from say 2021, which is alot! Also, I'd get two more to compare it to, but I think that's a quality bid. I would check with Newman Windows for a bid and BM Windows. Lastly, both of these companies seem to be quality outfits in San Diego.
