Hi, thank you so much for your window videos as they have help tremendously with educating me on windows and the industry. I am located in the Toledo, Ohio area and Sunrise windows seems to be the main window company outside of the national names. Can you help me assess if this is a fair quote I received from my local company. Additionally I would like you thoughts on a per window costs between the sunrise tiers to target. Thank you. I'm also looking to get a bid from Smart Choice, but I'm not certain what windows they sell. So, if you have any information, that would be great.

Brent, that is certainly in the ballpark of fair. Sometimes I sound like a broken record, but until you have 3 to 4 bids, it's impossible to know if the window price bid is as fair as it could be. Also, you need to compare this bid to other local bids. That's the only real way to know if it's the best deal on the market. However, on the face of it, this is a good bid for the Sunrise window, which is a quality brand.

Lastly, I have heard of Smart Choice, but know very little about them. My understanding is that they primarily sell wood clad windows, but I'm assuming they also offer a vinyl alternative. So, get a bid and then let's circle back and see how they compare and which window brands they bid out on.
