Smart Shield Windows Reviews 2026
Smart Shield Windows is window installation company headquartered in Bucks County, Pennsylvania that has been in business since 2021 (so definitely still a newcomer to the scene). The company generates great customer reviews and sells and installs excellent brands, including ProVia, Andersen, Pella, and Okna. This offers customers access to all window materials, including vinyl, fiberglass, wood, and composite windows. Smart Shield Windows are ideal for households looking for a quality company that installs high-quality brands. However, none of the brands they rep and work with are going to be inexpensive. Smart Shield Windows provides long term value if you plan to stay in your home long term.
- Best For: Discerning homeowners looking for quality installation
- Not Ideal For: Price-conscious households
- Key Strength: Great reviews, rep great brand

"Thank you for your response. Much appreciated. And good timing as I'd like to make a decision on my replacement windows this week. I received quotes for the Okna 800 and 600 -- both Energy Star certified. The 800 was above my price range so I'm considering the 600. For 12 windows the quotes are as follows:
Zen Widows quoted the ProVia at $14,380.00 and the Soft-lite Classic window series at $13,425.00. Smart Shield windows quoted the Okna 600 at $14,704.10.
I was actually between the Soft-lite and Oknas. Beyond price, what should I be considering here to break the tie and pick a company?
Soft-lite does not require a deposit. Payment can be made on the date of install or I can do a no interest financing for 12 months so long as its paid off by month 12. Okna would require 50% down and 50% at install. They probably have some financing to offer but not as good as Softlite. They also add a surcharge for "oversized" windows totaling more than 100 inches around.
They would be white windows pursuant to HOA guidelines with gridlines.
In my primary bedroom I have 3 windows that extend to the floor. They measure about 75 inches tall by 32.5/33 wide. The Okna quote includes tempered glass for the bottom sash in these windows The softlite quote does not but I think it's probably required for safety and codes since the window is more than 9 sq. feet. Thoughts on that?"

Editor's Advice:
Jennifer, go with the Okna 600 for sure. One of the best vinyl windows out there and honestly very close in quality to the 800 series. Love the tempered glass -- safer (especially with possible code requirement). As long as the Okna dealer gets good to great reviews, this is the path that offers the best roi.
