Crestline Windows Class Action Lawsuit

Explore Crestline Windows class action lawsuit information and complaints from dissatisfied consumers and homeowners. Crestline is a Wisconsin based company that has been in the window and door industry since the mid 1950s. They are widely known for their builder grade windows, which is another way of saying cheap vinyl windows - typically sold at big box stores like Menards, etc. The overall quality and pricing is comparable to American Craftsman windows.

Crestline Windows Lawsuit 2026 Update

As of July 2026, there have been no updates on any pending litigation against Crestline Windows. I did a big search to try and find anything that might have changed or moved on this front, but I found nothing. My opinion of Crestline Windows has not changed over this past year - the company is still one of the worst window brands in the business and I wouldn't be all that surprised to learn that they were up against another class action lawsuit. As always, we are happy to provide recommended windows or to review any bids you might have. This is a free service.

Editor's Advice:

The class action lawsuit against Crestline began in 2020 and to the best of my knowledge is still ongoing (although I have been unable to find out which law firm filed the case). The lawsuit claims that Crestline Windows And Doors were/are defective, specifically that the units leak, as well as exhibiting frame warping and cracking. Because the products do not meet the standard of performance promised by Crestline under its warranty, the suit seeks compensation for anyone who purchased their products over the last 15 years. (My timeline might be a bit off here.)

This is what I was able to unearth, but it's obviously incomplete. Mainly because I'm not able to point Crestline customers in the right direction in terms of the law firm handling the case. (If I do find the information about the lawsuit, I will update this page as soon as possible.)
