Cochran installs a number of impressive window and door brands, including Marvin, ProVia, Wincore, and Polaris. Marvin Windows makes some of the best fiberglass windows on the market today. Additionally, ProVia and Polaris are two of my favorite vinyl windows on the brands around. Finally, Wincore Windows is a solid brand that will tend to run at a lower price compared to these other two options. It’s rare that I like all of the brands that a particular company sells. However, Cochran has done just that.
Warranty Information
Cochran Exteriors offers a 50 year warranty on all of their installation services. (Explore the labor cost to install windows.) This is impressive to say the least. However, the company website does not go into much detail in terms of exclusions and limitations are included in this 50 year labor warranty. Can You Help Me Compare Window Quotes?
Hi - I have received 3 quotes and wondering if they are all too high and what is the best vinyl window out there. I am in the Indianapolis area and one is from Okna and one is from Cochran Exteriors. Any opinion?

Kathy, if you send me the summations of the window quotes I am happy to weigh in on whether they are too high or not. One of the problems here is that Okna windows is the manufacturer, while Cochran Exteriors is a home improvement company. So I would have to know what company was installing the Okna windows (along with the series and cost) or I would have to know which window Cochran is installing (along with price quote).
As it stands now, I can't really compare the two. However, I will say this, Okna is one of my top three brands on the market.

Hi Dane, we have a rehab in historic district and looking for some faux wood windows. I stumbled online at your website on such windows in below article. so, do you have any recommended list of brands and suppliers for zipcode: 46217. It is in Indianapolis. We have heard about Cochran Exteriors because one of our neighbors had them do their roof and windows. Any opinions here? Appreciate your help.

Ravi, here are my recommendations [list pulled for duplicate content] many of the best vinyl windows are available in a faux wood, but do ask them which series have the upgrade option. As far as Cochran goes, I know they are a well known roofing company, but I don't have a ton of information on them in terms of their replacement windows and doors. Having said that, I do think they would be a good option for the dual home improvements of windows and roofing. Let's work through my list and then see where we are at the end of that process.
