Foster Exteriors Windows And Doors
What kind of windows and doors does Foster Exteriors sell and install? The company offers a number of brands, including NT, Burris Windows, and Alside. Their primary brand is NT and they install the NT Executive, NT Presidential, and NT Twinsulator Series. (The NT brand is the best option in the Foster Exteriors lineup in my opinion.)
Additionally, Foster Exteriors sells the Burris TectView AC and EX windows, as well as the Alside Mezzo. In terms of doors, they install the NT R301 patio door and the Burris TectView PD. Finally, the company also sells and installs the Win-Dor 2750 and 3750 series vinyl sliding patio doors.

Window Replacement Comparisons
Hi Dane, thank you so much for getting back to us! How does the NT Executive or Presidential (Foster) compare to KHPP Genesis quality wise? Are they in the same price range? Both NT and KHPP seem to offer limited transferable warranty on windows, are these warranties prorated? Thanks!

Scott, I would still think the KHPP window is higher quality, but they are also a smaller company (I believe). NT Windows might be the safer bet (if something happens way down the road), but I don't put much stock in warranties in general - 20 years from now is the company gonna zip out to your house and replace all of your windows? Will you be in the same house? Will the local installer still be in business?
So I tend to go with this mantra - buy the best window from the best installer who offers a two years warranty on labor. Anything that's going to happen will happen in the first six months. Then hopefully you put in a good batch and you are good to go for the next 30 years.

Zen vs Foster
I have two quotes here in Dallas. Firstly, we received a quote from Zen Windows that installs Soft-lite. Secondly, we got a quote from Fosters Exteriors on NT Presidential windows. Same price so now it comes down to the install company.

Rob, I like both of these options. However, as a brand, I do prefer Soft-Lite Windows over NT. Both companies get good reviews. Still, I think my preference here is the Zen Windows.

We live in Dallas, TX area and have 17 windows that need to be replaced. One bid from Brennan windows on the NT Traditions for $12.9K of the Signature series for $11.6K. Got another bid from American Replacement Windows on NT Presidential for $10.3K or the Sunrise Classic window for $12.6K.
Finally, Foster Exteriors offered the NT Presidential for $14.2K or the NT Executive for $13K.

Geoff, my top pick would be the Sunrise Classic window for $12.6K. Next would be NT Presidental for $10.3K. I would make the decision based on how long I was planning to stay in the home with the ove/under 12 years.

NT Windows Presidential vs Executive
Hi Dane, we live in the Dallas, TX area and are looking to replace 17 windows [11 Single Hung (1 Tempered), 2 Picture Windows (1 Tempered and Obscured), 4 Single Hung with Arch]. I think we have settled upon NT Windows, but I did include one Sunrise quote we received. I was hoping to get your thoughts on any of these prices and companies (if you have any knowledge of them).
Brennan Window Corp. based in Arlington quoted:
Traditions Window for $12,900
(I believe this is similar to the NT Presidential, but please correct me if this is incorrect.)
Signature Window for $11,615
(I believe this is similar to the NT Executive, but again, please correct me if this is incorrect.)
American Replacement Windows based in Garland quoted:
NT Presidential for $10,130
NT Executive for $9,630
Sunrise Classic for $12,612
Foster Exteriors based in Dallas quoted:
NT Presidential for $14,200
NT Executive for $13,000
Any insight into the prices and companies would be greatly appreciated. I did take a look at your page on Foster Exteriors Reviews, but it didn't sound like you had a deep handle on the company.

Ryan, I have to say I’d be hard pressed not to go with one of the Brennan corp. bids. Their reviews are pretty amazing. That would make me feel very confident in this process. The Traditions windows is an exclusive series only available to large volume dealers. Essentially, it is very close to their NT Windows Presidential series, but lacking in a few bells and whistles. This is what I would go with from them.

I happen to like the Sunrise window price quote a bit better than the NT Presidential, but for me the company doing the install is so darn important. The Brennan bid is lower than the Foster, so I would stick with them myself...
