Pinnacle Home Improvement Windows And Doors

Pinnacle Home Improvement has been around since the mid 1990s and operates in three states - Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. The company offers a number of home improvement services, which include roofing, replacement windows, vinyl siding and gutters. Generally, Pinnacle gets mixed reviews that vary by branch and by source. For instance, the company receives very good google local reviews, while their facebook and yelp reviews are so/so to kinda bad. Scroll down to read our Pinnacle Home Improvement reviews.

Overall Rating: Pinnacle Home Improvement Windows gets a 4.2 out of 5 stars based on 5 consumer reviews below.

My Take On This Company: Pinnacle gets some good reviews (mixed in with some so/so ones) but they sell Okna windows. This for me is an automatic, yes, get a price bid to at least see how their pricing compares with other local window installation companies.

What They Sell

PHI is not a manufacturer (like Sunrise or Pella Windows), but are instead an installer only. Unfortunately, the Pinnacle website does not indicate the brand(s) or model of windows and doors that they install. However, I do know they sell Okna windows, which is one of my favorite brands out there.

Please note: PHI is very different than the pinnacle wood clad window series sold by Windsor Windows. PHI operates six regional branches, including Atlanta, Knoxville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Chattanooga, and Nashville.

Pinnacle Warranty Information

Pinnacle Home Improvement offers a 2 year labor warranty on all of their windows and doors. What this essentially means is that if there are any manufacturing products defects, the company will cover all of the labor costs to repair or replace the windows and/or doors within 2 years of the installation date. This labor warranty can be transferred to another owner (although the odds are low that the original buyer moves within the first two years). This is a pretty standard labor warranty timeline.

On the product side, Pinnacle offers the manufacturing warranty (that comes from the manufacturer themselves). Use this link to our windows warranty information page to find warranty details on both Okna and Pella windows.

Pinnacle Home Improvements Reviews Complaints

Hi Dane, Great info!! Got to your site from one of your videos. We are building a new mountain second home in NC. Wondering how much of what you include on your site applies to new construction, or if you have any advice on that? Should I stick with contractor or get a local company like Pinnacle Home Improvement to do windows and doors install only. Trying to get our arms around this octopus. Sincerely.

Hi Rob, well new contruction is often quite a bit more expensive than replacement, but your contractor/builder might be able to get good pricing for you on a quality brand. If they are amenable to having local company provide quotes then that's fantastic as the more price and products you see the better in my opinion. But first step is to have your contractor take a look at the brands and options and if any might make sense for you. "Trying to get our arms around this octopus." -- haha, quite apt --

Okna Windows vs Provia

One company (Pinnacle Home) in Atlanta quoted us for the Okna 500 series. I think for 30 windows, Okna is ~$27.8k and Aspect is ~$26.1k. I hear a lot about Okna windows. If they're ~2k more, is the price difference worth it? I appreciate the help - last question I promise. Thank you.

PJ - Homeowner - from 2024

[Site Editor's Answer]

PJ, no worries, I'm happy to help. While I like the Okna brand a lot, I'm not sure their 500 series is better than the Aspect. I'm gonna say they are VERY close in overall quality and craftsmanship. If this same bid was on the Okna 600, 700, or 800, then I would say the price difference is well worth it. But I'm not convinced it's worth it on the 500 series. Both excellent vinyl windows and honestly I would decide on which window to go with more based on the company doing the installation over these two window series.

Pinnacle vs Harvey Windows

Hi Dane, I hope you're doing well! I have a question for you. What is your thought on the Harvey windows vs Pinnacle Home Improvements? I know you have Harvey listed in your top tier vinyl. I was told they don't have reinforcement in the meeting rails. Can that become an issue? My customer is going between the ProVia Aspect and the Harvey Tribute.

The other contractor told her that less quality vinyl windows only need reinforcement in the meeting rails (all ProVia windows have reinforcement besides the ecoLite so I find that statement hard to believe). Thanks for all your help!

Giota - Homeowner - from 2024

[Site Editor's Answer]

Giota, the reinforcement in the meeting rail is a nice feature and good upgrade, but it's not a make or break. It does add strength, but Harvey makes a good enough window on it's own. I like the reinforcement come year 20 when you can begin to see a tiny bit of sag at the middle. I didn't realize that Pinnacle sold the ProVia Aspect, good to know. How does the price compare between the ProVia Aspect and the Harvey Tribute? Both great windows by the way.

Pinnacle Home Improvement Reviews

Hi Tim, I am getting quotes to replace 36 windows & 3 transoms at my home in Dunwoody, GA (ATL suburb). Homes in my neighborhood sell in the high 6 figure and low 7 figure range. Today I received a quote from Apex for $36,492, which seems high to me. I have appointments set with Alan Murphy Windows to get a quote for Sunrise Windows and Pinnacle Home Improvement Windows in Woodstock for an Okna quote. Can you recommend any other companies and/or brands that I should be considering?

Thank you!

Sayra - Homeowner - from 2022

[Website Editor Reply]

Sayra, there are some excellent options where you live. In fact, Sunrise (now owned by MI Windows And Doors) is a very good brand that is at the top of my Atlanta recommendations list of windows. Ironically, Okna is probably the only other brand that is above Sunrise in that region. So I think you are well served and well on your way to getting some great windows and doors. I will be sure to send you my list right now.

[For our Atlanta, Georgia window list, please email Tim.]
