What They Sell

What windows and doors does Statewide Windows sell? The company primarily sells both Custom Window Systems and ES Windows. Custom Window Systems is a Florida based vinyl and aluminum window and patio door manufacturer that specializes in both impact and non-impact windows. They generally are well regarded as a quality brand by many industry insiders.

ES Windows is a newer company (also based in Florida) that offers three main residential window series, which include the Multimax, Elite, and Prestige models. To be honest, I don't know a ton about their window and patio door quality. All in all, a big thumbs up for me on Custom Window Systems and a still a bit of a question mark on ES Windows.

Warranty Information

Statewide Windows warranty includes a lifetime labor provision for the original buyer. This means that if you experience any issues with the installation or windows (and/or doors), the company will either replace or repair the windows free of charge. I do not believe that this labor warranty is transferrable to another homeowner if the original buyer moves.

Additionally, the manufacturer(s) warrant that their products are free from defects. The exact terms, provisions, and exclusions will vary by the manufacturer themselves. Our site has listed many of these on our warranty page (although I’m not sure we have provided this for ES Windows per se).

Statewide Hurricane Window Options

hello, I saw your website online. Are you able to provide a list of best hurricane windows that can be good in florida. I am looking at Simonton Stormbreaker vs CWS 6100 series from Statewide. I don't know if these were on your list or if you have others that you can recommend. Thank you very much and I look forward to your reply.

cindy, I'm happy to share my list of recommended hurricane windows. Also, I like both the Simonton Stormbreaker vs Custom Window Systems 6100 series and hear relatively good things about Statewide Windows And Doors. I think you are on track with your search, although I would like to see 2 or 3 more bids before we make a decision. It's a process but I'm happy to help out.

Competing Window Bids

Dane, how do I know if I need impact windows. Several of the local companies said that I did while two others said they didn’t think I needed them. Also, impact windows are so much more expensive. We got a bid on CWS from Statewide WD that was $2100 per window. The other vendor was even a little bit more. According to your window cost estimator it should have been $1800. Am I getting ripped off?

Sheryl, the range of impact windows cost is $1700 to $2400 per window fully installed. But even this range is just that - a range. Those companies that gave you the bid could have said $3500 per window on the off chance that you would have signed the work order. There are no hard and fast prices. You are correct though that impact windows are significant more expensive than normal windows. Almost double when it comes right down to it.

Florida Impact Windows

Good morning guys, I’d love your take on these three bids for four impact windows in coastal Florida. Long term we are going to replace the rest in the house as well, so want to make sure we are choosing the right window up front. First bid is really pushing our budget, but we don’t want a poor product either. Thank you for your time and input!

Bid 1: $7200 for PGT EnergyView 5400 single hung (PGT dealer)

Bid 2: $6157 for Simonton Coastal

Bid 3: $5500 for Window World 8800 series double hung (note, from what I’ve found on various review pages, our local franchise is very well rated).

Bid 4: $6500 for ES Through Statewide Windows

Alex, I think if that PGT is pushing your budget, you should strongly consider either the Simonton Coastal windows or the Window World 8800 series. They are both the least expensive bids, but also these are brands that are solid. The Window World is actually a Wincore 8800 impact window. Assuming the Window World installation quality (and online reputation) is good, this would probably offer the best long term value for your dollar.

Statewide Windows And Doors Reviews

Hi Dane, I have been looking for windows in Boca, FL. I've gotten 3 bids, with the 4th one we will get on Saturday. Andersen came in super high with only doing 8 of our Windows. The sliding door alone was going to be over $9000. Next was Window World with the 4000 series that came in at $8750 for all of the windows and sliding door. Window World has great reviews in San Antonio.

Then Home Depot came by and offered us two different types of windows, the Simonton 6100 and 6500 windows. The 6100 series being in the $9000 range and the 6500 series coming in around $12000. Lastly, we had Statewide Windows And Doors come out and they didn't come prepared (salesman was great, but it looks like this is how this company does business) to show me windows or give me prices. I was less than happy about that. They plan on coming back out on Saturday for that part.

We do have a tight budget, but would love your opinion of these and maybe lead me to some other options in our area. I see that you are a big Sunrise fan and like the ProVia Windows. Thank you so much.

[Site Editor's Answer]

Russ, I think it matters your timeline in the home. I love the idea that the Window World has such good reviews -- I'm typically not a big fan of their Windows though...I think it's a nice option but I just don't trust it as a long term option. The Simonton 6100 window is a more solid choice, but I think the installation from HD can be hit or miss.

Impact Window Requirements

Hi Dane. We are contemplating a patio enclosure for our Florida home. Which windows are better Simonton Perfexion Platinum Series and the other is Amcraft windows by Simonton. Not sure about going with impact windows or not. We had a bid from Statewide and their guy said we did, but the other bids said they weren't required.

Myrna - Homeowner - from 2018

[Website Editor Reply]

Myrna, the Simonton Perfexion Platinum window would be the desired option over Amcraft Windows. In terms of whether or not you are required to use impact windows, you would need to check with the county. The other option is to call about a handful of contractors in the area and pretend you're interested in maybe using their services and then ask them. Call up as many as you need before you have a solid handle on whether this is required or not. This should not take more than 30 minutes on the phone to come to your conclusion.
