Pella Class Action Lawsuit #1
In the case of Eubank v Pella Corporation, a group of homeowners sued the company claiming that Pella casements, awnings, and transom windows purchased between 1991 and 2009 were defective. More specifically, the homeowners alleged that the Pella ProLine wood-clad series (along with the 450 and 250 Series) were defective and led to water damage that caused damage to walls and homes. The suit also alleged that most of the wood-clad window were dmaaged from the wood as well. Pella denied the claim and the suit was headed to court.
Outcome Of Eubank v Pella Corporation: This class action lawsuit was eventuallu settled out of court in March of 2019. Because the suit was settled out of court, the financial agreement reached was never public information.
