Ameritech Windows Reviews 2026

Ameritech Windows is a home improvement company that has been in business since 1994. The Denver based Colorado company offers a number of services, including replacement windows, doors, vinyl siding, gutters, and attic renovations. Ameritech services the metro Denver area and receives very good reviews on many of the online review sites (including a 4.7 on google local). Our Verdict: With online reviews as good as this, yes get a bid. However, I have to say I'm still not certain about the overall quality of their windows and/or doors. Very solid warranty.

Ameritech Windows Warranty

The company offers a pretty terrific window warranty and they aren’t shy about telling you - see their Ameritech warranty page. The company offers a non pro-rated 40 year warranty on the window frame and all parts - specifically that the windows and/or patio doors are free from manufacturing errors.

Additionally, the warranty is transferrable to a subsequent owner. However, they don’t say whether the window warranty for the new owner has an expiration date from the installation date (most do). Finally, the warranty includes a 2 year labor warranty and an optional upgrade to an 8 year labor provision (not necessary in my opinion if you are considering this). All in all, I really like this warranty.

Ameritech Windows Customer Experience
Review Category Homeowner Experience
Companies Considered Ameritech, Zen, Amerimax, Milgard, and ProVia
Company Selected Ameritech Windows
Window Performance Improved noise reduction and basement temperature control
Service Issue Two window screens worked loose after installation
Service Response A technician arrived within three days, repaired the screens, and inspected the remaining windows

Our basement had its original windows from the 70s, so us replacing them was long overdue. We ultimately chose Ameritech after getting bids from Zen, Amerimax and a Milgard dealer. We tried to find a ProVia dealer but we struck out. Ameritech wasn’t the cheapest, but the new windows were obvious right away. Noise is so much better, and the basement now stays cool in the summer, warm in the winter. Exactly as promised.

However, a few months after the install, two of the screens worked their way loose. We called up Ameritech, and they had a service technician out within three days. He not only fixed the problem screens, but also inspected the rest of the windows. How great is that - a company stands behind their work and delivers what they promised. It’s a miracle.

Ameritech Bristol Window Details

Installation Company Ameritech
Window Brand Bristol Windows
Manufacturer Winchester
Glass Package Triple pane
Quote Amount Not provided

Hello, we got a price quote from Ameritech. They sell Bristol windows made by Winchester. She gave us all of the reasons why their three pane window was better than the competition from higher R value to better vinyl construction. We are trying to do our research and see if it is worth the cost to install these windows. Any information would be helpful.

Editor's Advice:

Kay, I hear very little about Ameritech windows. Also, it looks like some consumers really like their options. However, I know so little about them that I won't comment further…I'd get at least a few more bids and then go from there.

Ameritech Window Quote

Project Type: Vinyl Replacement Windows

Ameritech Replacement Window Project Details
Project Detail Homeowner Information
Existing Windows Approximately 20-year-old vinyl windows with failed seals
Company Considered Ameritech
Quote Amount Not visible in the submitted attachment
Contract Status Signed one day earlier and still within the cancellation period
Primary Concern High-pressure sales tactics and potentially high pricing

Hi Dane, we're looking to replace vinyl windows on our newly purchased 20 year old home, as the seals have failed. Attached is a replacement quote from Ameritech, which seems high to us. Also, we live in Loudoun County in Northern Virginia and would really appreciate your insights. Furthermore, we did sign a contract one day ago, so we can still cancel. The product seems good, but the sales tactics were high pressure, so it's a concern. Your thoughts? Thank you.

Editor's Advice:

Sue, I didn't see a price on the jpeg you sent. It think it cut off the top and bottom. Can you let me know the total number of windows and the price. I'm happy to weigh in on the bid. Also, I will already tell you that I would advise getting a few more to compare it to, especially given your location and the number of quality brands that should be available. Here is a list of good and great vinyl windows to consider. [Email us to receive the list Dane]
