Krasiva Windows And Doors Company Info

Krasiva Windows And Doors is a window and door installation company that is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The company has been in business since 1997 and installs Andersen Windows and Doors, as well as additional window brands. One of these is the Desert Mountain series (which I have never heard of) and appears to be their own manufactured product. Scroll down to read our Krasiva Windows And Doors Reviews.

Overall Rating: Krasiva Windows And Doors gets a 4.5 out of 5 stars based on 5 consumer reviews below.

My Take On This Company: Krasiva Windows And Doors carries Andersen windows, which is a nice brand, although I'm not the biggest fan of wood windows (however their 100 series is a fibrex composite window). The company's installation seems solid, so yes I'd suggest getting a bid from Krasiva.

Krasiva Window And Door Brands

In 2024, Krasiva began carrying and installing Andersen Windows And Doors, which is a high quality brand that is also quite expensive compared with many vinyl window manufacturers. Beyond this, the company's website is very cagey about that brand(s) of windows and doors they actually install.

They are happy to say they install single hung windows, but they never list an actual brand. Although see below - the company does mention Desert Mountain Windows And Doors. Additionally, this seems to be a window that they themselves make - love to see some performance data on this window line.

Krasiva Windows Warranty

The company says the Desert Mountain Windows And Doors (which they themselves make) carries a double lifetime warranty. Typically, this will mean that this covers any manufacturing defects for the original purchaser and another subsequent homeowner. Additionally, they do not specify whether they cover the labor costs associated with any repairs or replacement. Overall, the company website is pretty scant on warranty details. I'm assuming they offer at least a one to two year labor warranty on any defective windows that they install.

Here is a link to most window manufacturers windows and door warranties - listed in alphabetical order.

Andersen 100 Windows In The Desert

Hiya Dane, we live near Phoenix and have received numerous price quotes and would love to have you do a spot check for us. It's for 5 windows in total - two are new construction and three are fixed frame non operable windows. We've received three quotes, one from Krasiva and the other two from local dealers - I'll find the names but all of the companies do seem to have decent reviews. The bids below include the full monty as it were :) everything included.

Anlin Delmar Window Quote: $5700
Milgard Trinsic Windows Quote: $5200
Andersen 100 Window Quote: $6500

We also received a Renewal by Andersen prices quote but that came in at $8900, which is way out of our budget - and just plain expensive.

Bret, I think the Anlin Del Mar windows makes the most sense. I have heard good things about Krasiva Windows & Doors, but the Andersen 100 series can't match the Del Mar (and the Del Mar saves you $800). If your projected stay in the home is somewhat brief (10 years or less), then the Milgard Trinsic Window be my call.

Thanks a ton Dane. We ended up going with the Del Mar and are very happy about how everything turned out. I have to say the Andersen 100 series from Krasiva is a very nice looking window, but the energy efficiency numbers couldn't match the Anlin Del Mar. Thanks again for your time and for what you do for window shoppers of all stripes.

Phoenix Replacement Windows

Hello, I am wondering if you might be able to help me make an informed decision regarding my window replacements. So, I need to replace 2 single slider windows, 1 XO sliding door and 1 OXO sliding door. Also, I have received quotes from 4 different vendors and have already thrown out 2 (Window World not a fan of their quality based on reviews; Krasiva tried to sell me the Andersen 100 series, but it was way out of my budget).

I do live in Arizona, so high summer heat is a huge factor for me. Specifically, I am now looking at 2 vendors who have offered us bids. While my initial inkling was towards the Anlin windows, I absolutely cannot afford $13k for these 4 sets of windows. However, the second vendor has a much better install process and warranty on the window, caulking, framing, etc. I greatly appreciate any direction!

Anlin Panoramic windows x2
Anlin Malibu sliding doors x2
Total cost: $9,100

Anlin Del Mar windows x2
Anlin Malibu sliding doors x2
Total cost: $13,780

Simonton Daylight Max x4
Total cost: $8,894

[Site Editor's Answer]

Kari, there is no doubt in my mind that the best deal here is the Anlin Panoramic and Malibu for $9100. These are head and shoulders above the Simonton Daylight Max for essentially the same price. Yes, the Del Mar is the better window, but it's not even close at that price delta to go with that bid. The first bid is the winner in my book by a mile.

Krasiva Windows And Doors Reviews

Hello! Great site you have! Today I received a bid in Phoenix for 9 windows and 1 standard slider for the Andersen 100 windows from Desert King. This includes 238 square feet and 198 perimeter feet. Window models are half round above half vent-2 slider round too-2 half round permanent 3 sliders. Obscured picture window and 1 sliding door two panel.

Quoted for $19890 with 40% off sale $11,934 and cash $10,940.

Also quoted $14,899 from Krasiva (although I wasn't sure what window it was).

What do you think of these prices? Thanks!

Leslie - Homeowner - from 2021

[Site Editor's Answer]

Leslie, that price is okay, toward the top of the range of what I would expect. Prices have been pretty crazy as of late with the increased demand for home improvement projects. Without knowing what Krasiva Windows and Doors sell, I would be cautious going with this option.

You might want to get another bid on say the Milgard Tuscany (there will definitely be available dealers in your are). You can always use the lower cost of the Milgard bid to see if the Andersen rep will lower his price. Also see if there is an Amerimax dealer in your area. Your call of course.
