Thermalast Windows is a New Jersey based manufacturer that has been in business since 2013. Specifically, the company makes energy efficient vinyl windows that they sell through a series of local dealers in NJ and NY (I’m assuming they will be expanding out from here in the coming years). Our Verdict: Any window with a legitimate .02 air infiltration rate is worth a bid in my book. I think the issue is going to be finding a dealer who sells and installs these windows and patio doors.

Thermalast Windows Overview

The company makes some pretty bold (and impressive) claims about their performance data. According to their website, their double hung, double pane windows deliver a .02 air infiltration rating, a U-value of .22, SHGC of .22, and an R value of 23. All quite impressive. Honestly, I’m surprised that I’ve never heard of the company based on these performance numbers. Also, the windows are used by Men With Tools, an installation company that operates out of Staten Island, New York. Lastly, Google thermalast windows reviews and their company comes up pretty prominently.

Thermalast Windows Warranty

Thermalast windows come with a lifetime warranty on the mainframe, insulated glass unit, hardware and components, and screen. Additionally, the company covers the labor cost to replace any windows with manufacturing defects - this is very rare and pretty darn impressive in my book.
