Window Nation Complaints
What is up guys? We recently received a price quote from Window Nations and it just seems sort of absurdly expensive to me. All of our openings are fairly normal sized and for 18 double hung windows using the Soft-Lite Imperial LS they were going to charge $1300 a window. From everything I’ve seen on your site this seems very high. Do you agree?

Randall, I think on the face of it $1300 per window is quite high. But it really is going to depend on the type of installation that is required, and the project specifics involved. Full frame replacement can run $200 to $300 per window higher than simple inserts, so right there this could count for that high per window cost. The Soft-Lite Imperial LS is an excellent window by the way so that is always going to run somewhat high. ( Soft-Lite Windows Reviews )
I feel like a broken record sometimes, but I will give you the advice that I give too many others. Collect three or four more bids and then you will know whether that $1300 per window from Window Nation is high or is the fair market cost of your project. Send me your bids once you collect them summarize them for me, and let’s work to get you a really good window at an affordable price from a company that has a good track record.

Customer Service Complaint
I dealt with Window Nation a while ago and ended up using them to replace the windows in my home. I do think they need to work on their customer relations though. When I initially called to make an appointment with one of their sales team, I was advised they would call me within forty eight hours. When I hadn't heard from them two weeks later, I called again and they couldn't explain why I hadn't received a call back.
I managed to get an appointment time there and then on the phone, but the salesman never arrived for the appointment. Now you're probably wondering why I would use a company like this, but after a month or so, I called again and the salesman arrived as planned. However, I didn't see many other Window Nation complaints on your review webpage.
We discussed my options, but because my home is old they did warn me that the existing windows could contain lead and if found during the installation, then the labor cost on the install would be more. I understood this and went ahead anyway. Now I eventually have my windows and are very pleased with them. They are good quality and look fantastic on my 1940's condo.
