Alpen Window Prices

Alpen window prices range from $60 to $90 per square foot for the windows themselves - this does not include the cost of installation. (Find additional window prices by size here.) Alpen HPP is a Colorado based company that specializes in fiberglass windows that emphasize high levels of energy efficiency. The company used to be Serious Windows.

Their fiberglass windows are considered a top quality product, particularly their 725 and 925 series, but they are also some of the most expensive as well. Most consumers will pay roughly 20% to 30% more for the Alpen fiberglass window compared to the Marvin fiberglass windows.

Alpen 525 Series Cost

I also recently just got a quote on the Alpen 525 series for $9,000 - $9,400 installed. That's about $2,000 less than the Marvin Infinity, and only about $1,800 - $2,000 more than the Zen Lotus (with a complete full-frame install). I'm hoping for a quote on Milgard Ultra's too.

After reading on your site, I was aware that Zen's were Soft-Lites, but I did not know that Soft-Lite had such a good reputation. Thank you for that.

[Site Editor's Answer]

Mike, Alpen makes a very nice window. I'm not sure it's worth $2K more than the Zen Lotus, but it might be somewhere close. I think I'd have to give the nod to the Zen bid, but again they are close.

Alpen 525 Window Costs

Hi folks, I've been using your site for days now and would love some assistance. I have received 6 quotes from different companies in Longmont, CO and have my 7th in about an hour. Here is the breakdown of companies and quotes. Could you help rank these? I feel like my brain is suffering from information overload from trying to research all these companies and products. Also, we've only just bought the house and lived here 10 days! These are all for 17 windows, all same color and action and includes installation.

Alpen Windows Pricing - 525 Series Fiberglass - $16k
Alpen - The Huntington (Kensington?) Vinyl - $10k
Pella Impervia Fiberglass - $21k
Pella - 250 Series Vinyl - $16k
Zen Nirvana - $11k
Zen Windows Prices - Lotus - $12k

[Site Editor's Response]

Josh, you have a lot of bids here and some very good brands represented. If you really like the fiberglass option and are considering going this route, I would put the Alpen 525 and the Integrity on par with one another. But at roughly $1000 per window, that's a lot of money, they must be big windows. Let me know what you decide!
