ProVia and Pella don't share a whole lot in common. ProVia is definitely an up and comer, while Pella stands at the very top of the industry. In terms of their brand, both companies enjoy very good reputations I would say. ProVia sells almost exclusively through a dealer network (as does Pella), but Pella also sells in the big box stores such as Home Depot - and they sell a lot here. In terms of window costs, Pella is going to often more expensive - in large part due to the name recognition.

Provia Windows vs PellaCompany InformationWhile ProVia Windows And Doors has been expanding at a steady clip over the past decade, they are still nowhere near as well known as Pella. Slowing but surely, however, ProVia is becoming a (more) known name. They began by selling doors and they are probably still better known for making excellent doors than windows. The company enjoys a good name among those who know.
What They SellProvia made a name for itself selling doors before they entered into the realm of replacement windows. They make excellent doors, some of the best in the business. Check out our ProVia Doors reviews page to read homeowner opinions on their doors. They offer wood-clad, steel, aluminum as well as several vinyl window series.
How They MarketProVia sells almost exclusively through a dealer network, which is pretty standard in the industry. Lately, they have sold their Endure series through Zen Windows, which has branches in many major cities in the eastern half of the country. ProVia is not available in many of the western half of the states.
Cost ComparisonsProVia is, I would say, somewhat expensive, but worth it. The quality of their products are exceptional for the most part. Their Endure is often a well priced vinyl window, as well as their Aspect series. Dive into what ProVia windows cost here. Pella is one of the most expensive brands on the market (along with Renewal By Andersen). I think they are more expensive than they need to be due to the name recognition. They do make an exceptional high end wood clad window that is, not surprisingly, very expensive. Want to know more of my favorite window series? ProVia Endure Windows vs PellaHere's what I have: 1 bay window with white exterior, double hung slash picture window, comforTech TLA glass, Half Screens. Two pretty close bids, but would love to see what you have to say.
[Site Editor's Answer]Danny, this is an easy answer for me. The ProVia Endure series is the better window over the Pella 250 - the fact that it's cheaper makes this an easy call.
