America's Windows Reviews 2026

America's Windows is a window and entry door installation company that services the Fort Myers and Cape Coral metro markets. AW is headquartered in Estero and the company has been in business since 2019. While they are obviously new to the window and door space, the company seems to be off to a very good start. Scroll down to read all of our America's Windows reviews.

Our Verdict: America's Windows carries some great window brands and their google reviews seem very positive. While I don't hear a ton about these guys (they have only recently hit my radar), they do seem like a good option for a bid if you are in the market for hurricane impact windows in the Fort Myers or Cape Coral metro markets.

America's Windows Window Overview

First off, let me say that I love that the company website, America's Windows, is very transparent about what window brands and options they sell. Frankly, this is refreshing given how many other installation companies seem so reticent about telling their customers what brands they carry. In terms of (replacement) windows, AW installs Custom Window Systems and PGT, both of which are on my list for best hurricane impact windows. Additionally, they carry Wincore, which is a very solid mid range vinyl window (they also sell a good impact window series). Likely, Wincore Windows are AW drop down or less expensive option for more budget minded consumers.

In terms of the doors, America's Windows sells and installs both ProVia and Thermatru Doors, both of which I like and endorse. All in all, AW carries and installs an impressive lineup!

America's Windows Warranty Coverage

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to suss out any information on the company's warranty. However, because they are an installation company (and not a manufacturer), they will only offer the labor warranty (the labor cost to install windows or replace the windows given a manufacturing defect). Typically, this will be one to two years after the date of installation. The manufacturing warranty comes from PGT Windows, CWS, ThermaTru or ProVia, Wincore. Most of these brands offer good warranty terms on their products.

Impact vs Non-Impact Window Cost Comparison

Project Type: 16 Impact And Non-Impact Replacement Windows
Location: Not Provided
Data Source: 2026 Homeowner Quotes

Impact And Non-Impact Window Quote Comparison
Window Series Window Type Total Quote Installed Average Installed Cost
PGT Sparta Series Impact $25,500 $1,594 per window
ES Elite Series Impact $22,900 $1,431 per window
America’s Windows — Okna 600 Series Non-Impact $17,200 $1,075 per window
Alside Mezzo Non-Impact $13,200 $825 per window

The impact-window proposals range from $5,700 to $12,300 more than the non-impact bids. Average costs are calculated across 16 replacement windows.

We have 16 replacement windows, and the companies are suggesting impact windows. This makes for a costlier project. The problem is I'm not sure I want impact windows based on what I've read online and I don't think I need them. Not according to code.

PGT Sparta Series: $25,500

ES Elite Series: $22,900

America’s Windows - Okna 600 Series: $17,200

Local company selling Alside Mezzo: $13,200

Editor's Advice:

Stacey, the question of whether of not you go the impact window route is up to you. There are pros and cons to each approach. I tend to be in the camp of not using impact windows and instead set up the reusable boarding up method, but you have to do it well in advance of the first storm, test it out etc.

Of the bids you have, the Okna comes in first by a log shot, then the Alside on the non-impact window approach. For the impact window approach, the PGT Sparta would be my pick over the ES Elite. They are the more trusted name in the industry. However, I would put quite a bit of stock in the installation company coming out to do the work. They're half the battle.

Three-Window Replacement Quote Comparison

Project Type: 3 replacement windows
Location: Not Provided
Data Source: 2019 Homeowner Quote Comparison

Three-Window Replacement Quote Comparison
Window Series Total Quote Installed Average Installed Cost
ViWinTech 6000 Replacement Windows Approximately $1,154 Approximately $385 per window
Simonton Contractor Line Approximately $932 Approximately $311 per window
America's Windows $1,373 Approximately $458 per window

"Thank you Dane. I have quotes from the following for 3 windows (2 - 35 5/8 x 32 3/4, 1 - 35 5/8 x 36 3/4).

A local window & door company: ViWinTech 6000 replacement windows / grills / full screens / white / 2layer low e / Argon / foam wrap / glass breakage warranty. Total $854. If I hire installers separately, then avg $100 per window. Total ~ $1,154.

Home Depot: Simonton Contractor line, may need to add J channel. $632.19 If I hire installers separately, then avg $100 per window. Total ~ $932.

A local building supply company: American Windows / vinyl / energy star rated low E, Argon, foam filled installed. Total $1373.

I know people who are very satisfied with their America's Windows and the installation. I've contacted someone to install if I choose those windows and have been satisfied with other finishing work he's done for me. Basically, it looks like a no brainer for the Simonton windows. I'll need to ask how much aluminum trim adds to the price so that I can add that to the others if I choose to."
Marta, Homeowner - from 2019

Editor's Advice:

Marta, I don't quite know enough about Americas Windows to say whether this is a good option or not. However, I like the idea that you've spoken with people who have had good experiences with them. The Simonton Contractor windows sounds like a good deal, but I'm always a bit suspect of their installation subcontractors. If I went this route, I would insist that they give me their very best installers and I would wait for whoever that was if they were all booked.

America’s Windows Okna 500 Quote Comparison

Project Type: 6 basement hopper replacement windows with steel frame removal
Location: Not Provided
Data Source: 2018 Homeowner Quote Comparison

Basement Hopper Window Quote Comparison
Window Series Total Quote Installed Average Installed Cost
America’s Windows Okna 500 $4,500 Approximately $750 per window
Improveit, LLC Window $7,500 Approximately $1,250 per window
Alside Mezzo $4,200 Approximately $700 per window

"I'm getting bids on 6 hopper windows for a basement. The windows are encased in steel, and the encasements will have to be removed to replace the windows, which will add to the cost. The bid from America’s Windows was $4,500. They use a window called the Okna 500 model.

The other bid I received was from Improveit, LLC for their own window. That bid was for $7,500. The last bid was the Alside Mezzo for $4,200."
Brian, Homeowner - from 2018

Editor's Advice:

Brian, I haven't heard of America’s Windows, but I checked online and they receive some very good Google reviews. I tried visiting their website but received an unusual pop-up message. No matter. The Okna 500 series is an excellent window, and the price seems quite competitive. This would definitely be my first choice. The company doing the work receives strong reviews, and the windows themselves are excellent.
