America's Windows Reviews

America's Windows is a window and entry door installation company that services the Fort Myers and Cape Coral metro markets. AW is headquartered in Estero and the company has been in business since 2019. While they are obviously new to the window and door space, the company seems to be off to a very good start. Scroll down to read all of our America's Windows reviews.

Overall Rating: America's Windows gets a 4.6 out of 5 stars based on 2 consumer reviews below.

My Take On This Company: America's Windows carries some great window brands and their google reviews seem very positive. While I don't hear a ton about these guys (they have only recently hit my radar), they do seem like a good option for a bid if you are in the market for hurricane impact windows in the Fort Myers or Cape Coral metro markets.

Window And Door Brands And Options

First off, let me say that I love that the company website, America's Windows, is very transparent about what window brands and options they sell. Frankly, this is refreshing given how many other installation companies seem so reticent about telling their customers what brands they carry. In terms of (replacement) windows, AW installs Custom Window Systems and PGT, both of which are on my list for best hurricane impact windows. Additionally, they carry Wincore, which is a very solid mid range vinyl window (they also sell a good impact window series). Likely, Wincore Windows are AW drop down or less expensive option for more budget minded consumers.

In terms of the doors, America's Windows sells and installs both ProVia and Thermatru Doors, both of which I like and endorse. All in all, AW carries and installs an impressive lineup!

America's Windows Warranty

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to suss out any information on the company's warranty. However, because they are an installation company (and not a manufacturer), they will only offer the labor warranty (the labor cost to install windows or replace the windows given a manufacturing defect). Typically, this will be one to two years after the date of installation. The manufacturing warranty comes from PGT Windows, CWS, ThermaTru or ProVia, Wincore. Most of these brands offer good warranty terms on their products.

Replacement Window Bids

Thank you Dane. I have quotes from the following for 3 windows (2 - 35 5/8 x 32 3/4, 1 - 35 5/8 x 36 3/4).

A local window & door company: ViWinTech 6000 replacement windows / grills / full screens / white / 2layer low e / Argon / foam wrap / glass breakage warranty. Total $854. If I hire installers separately, then avg $100 per window. Total ~ $1,154.

Home Depot: Simonton Contractor line, may need to add J channel. $632.19 If I hire installers separately, then avg $100 per window. Total ~ $932.

A local building supply company: American Windows / vinyl / energy star rated low E, Argon, foam filled installed. Total $1373.

I know people who are very satisfied with their America's Windows and the installation. I've contacted someone to install if I choose those windows and have been satisfied with other finishing work he's done for me. Basically, it looks like a no brainer for the Simonton windows. I'll need to ask how much aluminum trim adds to the price so that I can add that to the others if I choose to.

[Site Editor's Answer]

Marta, I don't quite know enough about Americas Windows to say whether this is a good option or not. However, I like the idea that you've spoken with people who have had good experiences with them. The Simonton Contractor windows sounds like a good deal, but I'm always a bit suspect of their installation subcontractors. If I went this route, I would insist that they give me their very best installers and I would wait for whoever that was if they were all booked.

America’s Windows Reviews

I'm getting bids on 6 hooper windows for a basement. The windows are encased in steel, and the encasements will have to be removed to replace the windows, which will add to the cost. Also, the bid from America’s Windows was $4500. They use a window called the Okna 500 model.

The other bid I received was from Improveit, LLC for their own window. That bid was for $7500. The last bid was the Alside Mezzo for $4200.

Brian, I haven't hear of America's Window, but I did check online and they get some very good reviews on google. I tried visiting their website, but got an odd pop up message. No matter. The Okna 500 series is an excellent window and the price seems quite competitive. This would be my first option for sure. Also, the company doing the work gets great reviews and the windows themselves are great.
