Infinity By Marvin Prices

Marvin Windows And Doors are well regarded in the industry for their quality construction and good customer service. However, the company's replacement window prices are quite expensive, but many homeowners and contractors consider the investment a good long term value. Let's dig into Marvin Infinity windows cost and consumer pricing.

My Take: The Marvin Infinity is a strong buy for me if you can take the price tag. Their quality and craftsmanship are second to none. If you can't afford the Marvin option, go with a premium vinyl window with a wood laminate interior.

Marvin Infinity Windows Cost

The Marvin Infinity is a high end fiberglass window that is a step up from their Integrity model, both in terms of its overall look and design, as well as the available options, hardware and sizes. This model is available in their fiberglass Ultrex on both the interior and exterior or as an Ultrex interior and Everwood interior. The Everwood is a wood veneer that is a great option for homeowners who want the look of wood without the necessary maintenance required. Many contractors feel this is the top of the line fiberglass frame for the price.

The Infinity comes in either the full Ultrex fiberglass frame or the Ultrex with an Everwood interior. Everwood is a wood veneer that closely mimics the look of wood, but doesn't require the maintenance of real wood. The Infinity will typically run $50 to $100 more than a comparable Integrity, due to the thicker frame and the bells and whistles that come standard (worth it in my opinion).

The Marvin Infinity also has a nicer frame finish and a slightly better warranty than the Integrity. It is rightly considered one of the best fiberglass windows on the market. Compare the Marvin Infinity Series to Inline window prices.

Marvin Infinity Warranty Information

The Infinity warranty includes a 20 year provision for the exterior cladding, 20 years for glass, 10 years for hardware, and 5 years on the interior finish. All in all, not the most impressive warranty out there. It is fully transferrable, which is always a nice feature. Below you will find our Marvin Infinity windows reviews section.

Marvin Infinity vs Integrity

The Infinity model uses a slightly thicker frame wall than the Integrity window with a better finish on the frame as well - the overall affect is a very nice looking window. The Infinity offers more custom options and comes with a better standard warranty. The one feature that many homeowners like on the Integrity series is the real wood interior option. The Infinity is usually priced about $75 more than the Integrity. Read additional Marvin windows reviews.

Robbie, those prices sound about right for the Infinity fiberglass window. I would definitely expand my search, including a bid from a Zen window dealer.

Marvin Windows Prices

We got a quote from a company last night. We need a very large 5 section window (essentially a wall is windows) replaced, two bedroom windows, and a kitchen window replaced. They quoted us around $7600 for Marvin fiberglass with installation and some brick work to frame one of the windows in. So for 8 fiberglass windows. The kitchen and 2 bedroom windows would be side opening windows. Is that a decent bid?

We also got a VistaMark windows cost quote for $6100 but I can't really find anything online about that brand.

I guess I'm realizing that the installation is a big part of the process and am scared to get some one who doesn't know what they're doing to install the windows.

Dan - Homeowner - from 2022

[Website Editor Reply]

Dan, that's a good price on Marvin windows to be honest. Vistamark is a vinyl window brand I'd avoid if you're in your home long term. Marvin is a high quality brand. Read all of our Vistamark windows reviews here.

Marvin Infinity Casement

Hi Tom I am considering the Marvin Infinity line in casements for my home. I live in Illinois so a mix of extreme cold and hot weather. Do you have any info on how the window performs over time? Does fiberglass crack with age? Thank you.

Aaron - Homeowner - from 2022

[Website Editor Reply]

Aaron, the Marvin Infinity is quite a good window. Fiberglass windows perform very well over time and they should not crack with age. I will say that a high quality vinyl window will have better energy efficiency numbers and will be less expensive. I think it's always a good idea to get a couple more bids just to compare it to...

Marvin Infinity Windows Cost Quote

Hi Tim - was on your website and was wondering if you still provide the window cost sheet? I've gotten a few different window bids so far and the difference in pricing is surprising. e.g soft-lite imperial vs. sunrise restorations (which i had thought would be somewhat similar but the quotes were thousands of dollars apart). I also got a Marvin Infinity quote that was actually a bit cheaper than a seaway vinyl quote from the same installation company (apparently due to my circle tops).

Additionally, I was curious your thoughts regarding the best "type" of window for due South facing in IL (some DH, some picture and circletop)? Is vinyl sufficient vs. fiberglass? One concern with fiberglass is the finish on it is "painted" on vs. vinyl and wondering how that will hold up in direct sun all the time. Additionally, the fiberglass frame corners are not fully welded right, so have concern about water leakage over time (vs. vinyl's fully fusion welded corners). Beyond the Infinity finish and corners, it did seem like a nice window if the price was equivalent to vinyl.

Thanks for any info you can provide!

Mike - Homeowner - from 2020

[Website Editor Reply]

Hi Mike, so there are huge differences in price that are difficult to account for--that's why I always say collect three of four bids, which it sounds like you have. I will send you the cost sheet, but the pricing information you now have on your own project is a much better indicator of price than anything I can give you.

Type of window facing South doesn't matter. If the south facing ones get lots of sun, then maybe consider a lower SHGC glass coating, but your rep should make this suggestion based on their observations during the bid.

The Marvin Infinity is quite a good fiberglass window. As far as leaking goes, Marvin fiberglass windows that are properly installed will not leak. The paint could peel over time. I don't hear about it that often, but it does happens.

I personally think the Soft-lite Imperial vs. Sunrise Restorations are the better option over the Marvin Infinity, but they are all quality products. Coupled with a professional installation company, any of these three should be a very solid choice.

Okna also has a presence around Chicago and you may want to get a bid on their 500 series to see if this could provide some additional value. The 500 is an excellent window.

Marvin Infinity Window Prices

Dane, you graciously gave me some window feedback last year but due to some family situations and now Covid, we haven't moved forward yet. I am trying to tie stuff up and just wanted to get a little more feedback from you if you would be willing.

For 13 windows picture and double hung (2-46x40, 4-42x40, 2-30x40, 2-84x40, and a picture window with 2 side windows) I have several quotes.

1) Marvin Windows Prices Infinity $16,840 for a full frame replacement

2) Marvin Integrity Cost $12,913 for full frame install

3) Gilkey Windows Cost $11,685 plus $3725 for complete gutouts (which I assume is a full frame replacement)

Three questions.

First: How does this pricing look?

Second: Regardless of price, what do you think of the quality, warranty and look of these windows.

Third: Is there any other window brand/model you would choose/recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Mike - Homeowner - from 2020

[Website Editor Reply]

Hi Mike, so the pricing looks pretty fair for full frame replacement. Marvin has the better reputation over Gilkey windows and it looks like Gilkey is right in the middle of the other bids from Marvin. I like the Infinity model over the Integrity myself. Fiberglass is expensive, typically 30% more so the price quote from Marvin is about what I'd expect.

Marvin Fiberglass Windows Cost

Hi, I love the look of Marvin fiberglass windows but the cost is more than I want to spend for 6 double hungs in a modest townhouse. I got quotes of $8775 and $7600 for Marvin Infinity windows (the $7600 is if I get my own financing, otherwise $9500 for company financing), which was quite a jolt after comparison to the estimated price on your website.

I realize I will have to make some compromises, but can you recommend some vinyl windows that have a similar look without the high price tag? I really don't like many of the vinyl frames that are thick and cheap looking, but I want a good quality window at a decent price. Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

Lori - Homeowner - from 2019

[Site Editor's Answer]

Lori, yes, fiberglass windows will typically run about 30% more than vinyl. One option is the Sunrise Restorations window, which is strong and thin, a very nice window. Soft-Lite, Okna and Kensington make excellent vinyl windows as well.

Marvin Infinity Windows Cost

Hi Dan, last question for you. Sunrise classic window cost is $19,000 for 19 window and Marvin Infinity window same 19 windows for $20,000 .which one is better quality window to buy because not too much in the price difference.

Thanks for all your help and your marvin windows prices information - very helpful for my wife and myself.

Rajen - Homeowner - from 2019

[Site Editor's Answer]

Rajen, both windows are quite good. I would give the nod to the Marvin Infinity fiberglass window over the Sunrise Classic. I would probably weight the company doing the install more than the differences between these two windows. But pound for pound, I'd have to give the edge to the Infinity.

Marvin Infinity Quote

We're replacing all of our windows, 20 in all. A fair number are odd shaped, which is probably why the bids seem so high.

1: Marvin Infinity: $49K
2: Revelation Series From LEI: $21K
3: RBA: $45K

Marvin Infinity Pricing vs. Pella Impervia

I have 2 bids for 25 windows. Each one includes the cost of laminated glass, which adds to each bid, but we live on a loud street and need to reduce down the noise.

Pella Impervia Bid: $24,600

Marvin Infinity Bid: $27,580

Marvin Infinity Window Cost

I have 14 pocket windows that I need replaced and so far the bid prices seem quite high. Each of the windows includes tempered glass and full grids, which I know adds to the price.

Soft-Lite Imperial LS Series (triple pane): $915 per window
Marvin Infinity Window: $1500 per window
Vytex Grandview Window: $770 per window

Marvin Infinity vs. Provia Endure

We have a 100+year old farmhouse (western PA) with close to or original wood windows that need to be replaced. We have 19 windows and have the following quotes (all over the board)

Window World: $10k

Provia Endure: $18-19k approximate and will get final bid next week (they're the "salesman" type people that come out twice)

Marvin Infinity replacements (with the everwood) $24.5 before upgrades (probably an additional $3-4k to get the metal fixtures and higher visibility screens in the few windows we want and tempered glass in a few windows, but if we don't worry about the screens I will want the metal fixtures which is an additional $1.7 k at least.

All of them look like wood but none are (the Marvin are stainable so we can get a better match to our interior frame, but the others are close). Window world are obviously the cheapest, but the warranty is really good. They don't come with metal fixtures even as an upgrade and I can just tell they aren't terribly good quality.

The ProVia Endure is (relatively) new but is supposed to be their most energy efficient yet.

The installers of the higher two are supposed to be really good as far as our companies in this area are concerned.

Anyone have any opinions for me?

Leah - Homeowner - from 2016

[Site Editor's Answer]

Leah, Window World sells either the Alside Excalibur or the Xact 1650 (I think this is the model) -- both of which are poor windows in my opinion. They will cost you more money and headaches in the long run. The warranty doesn't really mean much to be quite honest with you, not after 8 or 9 years, which is when most of the problems start.

ProVia makes a good window and I agree with you about the energy efficiency. I like this option, especially given the quality installation/reputation they offer.

The Marvin Infinity is a very nice fiberglass window, however it is also quite a bit more expensive -- not surprising.

I think those are your two choices, ProVia or Marvin. You just have to decide whether the Marvin is worth the extra money. If it were me, I would see if I could get the ProVia rep (or Marvin rep) to come down on their price to sweeten the deal and then I'd pull the trigger.

Marvin Infinity vs OKNA Insul-Tec

How would you compare Marvin Infinity double hungs to OKNA Insul-Tec? We are looking to replace our 25 yr old vinyl windows and have received a price of $13,500 for the Marvin Windows. Have not received a price for the OKNA yet? Thanks!

Alice - Homeowner - from 2016

[Site Editor's Answer]

The Marvin Infinity is considered a high quality fiberglass window that is quite well built and attractive as windows go. The Okna Insul-Tec is a high quality vinyl windows that is quite well built and is, like many vinyl windows, decent enough to look at. The Okna should provide better performance, but the Infinity is generally seen as the nice looking of the two. I would think the Okna 500 series would be 20% less than the Infinity.

Either way, these two windows are both considered very good.

Tim - Site Editor - from 2016

Marvin Infinity Costs

I also recently just got a quote on the Alpen 525 series for $9,000 - $9,400 installed. That's about $2,000 less than the Marvin Infinity, and only about $1,800 - $2,000 more than the Zen Lotus (with a complete full-frame install). I'm hoping for a quote on Milgard Ultra's too.

After reading on your site, I was aware that Zen's were Soft-Lites, but I did not know that Soft-Lite had such a good reputation. Thank you for that.

Mike - Homeowner - from 2016

[Site Editor's Answer]

Mike, Alpen makes a very nice window. The Infinity is probably the nicer window, although I'm not sure it's worth $2K more. Perhaps if you like the overall look of the Infinity. If not, I'd stick with the Alpen 525.

Tim - Website Editor - from 2016

Marvin Infinity Windows Cost

I have narrowed my search down to Okna 800 windows and the Marvin Infinity series, both highly rated. I have 8 double hungs to replace.

Marvin Windows Prices Infinity: $9K

Okna 800 Series: $5K

Lisa - Homeowner - from 2016

[Site Editor's Answer]

Hi Lisa, the Marvin Infinity and Okna 800 series are both excellent windows. Looking at that price difference though, I think the Okna is the hands down way to go.
