I'm considering the Ideal Majestic series for my 10 replacement double hungs (w/Energy Green Package). Price bid ended up running $610 each on the windows and $4000 on the ProVia Endure patio sliding door. Total is $10,100.
Also have a bid on the Soft-lite Elite and their door - that total is $11,600

Andy, I would say the first option with the Majestic windows and ProVia Endure door is your best option. Great price point on the windows - door seems high to me. But ProVia makes the best in the business.

Provia Fiberglass Door
Hello, looking at a ProVia fiberglass door (36 inch) with sidelights and level 8 privacy glass. New quality, too. All new hardware and wood trim. Custom build is more expensive, I know, yet…does estimate of $14k seem reasonable? Thanks.

Ron, $14K for a door is very expensive. Custom builds though can REALLY jump up in cost. I would keep searching, especially if you are talking about a specific sized door as some companies standard are other companies customs, if that makes sense. My top picks for patio doors would include the Soft-Lite Kingsroyal, ProVia Endure, Sunrise Patio Doors, Okna Elegante, and Kensington HPP Sliding Patio Door.
